This hut is a hit with my resident pair of wrens. It didn’t take long at all for them to find and use it. They are only using one side tho and only one of them uses it to sleep at night. It’s a cute hut and the wrens seem to like it.

I have had a Carolina Wren living on my front porch for a few months. She was in a coconut house, but I wanted to find something that seemed warmer with a smaller opening. I received this house and put it on the back patio. She instantly took to it! She has been sleeping in it every night ever since. Mine arrived a little damaged (the right entrance was cracked) but I was able to make it work!

We purchased this as we had two wrens trying to build a nest on the lights in our front porch area. The two wrens totally ignored this nest when my husband put it up. In fact, they went to the opposite corner, and proceeded to make a much better nest than their initial attempt. So, even though they ignored the one they purchased, they now have one they like, and they actually have eggs in it.

Bought this for wrens to roost in them overnight. Many roosting pockets are not tightly woven and don't provide protection from cold winter winds. This is tightly woven and should provide more warmth. I liked it and the wrens were checking in out last night. They appeared to like it.

I looks like a “house” a private nest,… however, is just a decoration thing, nothing else.The birds didn’t like it.Doesn’t fit not even small birds.And even if it did, it would be impossible to manage the babies.It didn’t work for my needs.

My little finches LOVE this nest!! Since I’ve had it, they have successfully raised 7 🐣 🐥 🐤 these pics, she has 4 more!! They are adorable and when you see the female spend all day inside the nest, it means she’s laying eggs and is trying to hatch them.

For a couple of months now I’ve been visited every evening at dusk by a silly little Carolina Wren. He or she hops around my covered patio (loudly) singing its song and occasionally bedding down in an old nest from an Easter Phoebe that roosted there over from the summer. But the old nest was falling apart so I bought this to replace it. First night I hung it up on our covered patio I spotted two sets of tail feathers sticking out of one of the holes. Our Wren friend(s) have been sleeping there every night since!I take comfort in knowing that the little bird that sings to us every evening has a safe, warm and dry place to bed down each night.
