Does not calibrate.Picks up wrong information. It is plug and play but that's all, better off getting a more reliable product, it cost more but can save a lot of headache.

this item comes in very handy, today even catalogs come with UPC codes and this scanner reads them all in a split of a second.very easy to install.

For the price, this is an exceptional value. It can serve the purpose of a one dimensional barcode reader at almost any needed area.

I bought two of these things for my business. It works perfectly with EAN-13 codes when they have 13 numbers, but when they have only 12, the scanner puts a zero before the other 12 numbers, but I only need 12 because my data base is done like that. Is there any way that the scanner can give me only the 12 numbers I need and instead of putting a zero before???
