I received my order about a week ago & so far most everything is good! Coming from a strobe that needs to be plugged in (& I have not wanted to spend $500 +- for a battery pack, as that $ could go toward something like a new lens 😍), I am very excited to be able to just take this out with me operating on battery! It’s small, fits easily in my camera bag & in my group of photographer friends, about 1/2 of us have them now. They all really like theirs & the kicker for me was they reported the battery lasts the whole day, sometimes longer before needing to be recharged.The only bad thing, but I stress it could have been user error since it I am still learning it, I was in the middle of a shoot & it stopped working. The power was on, battery was full, & test flash would work fine but the flash would not fire. The unit was not even warm so I know it didn’t get hot. I turned everything off, started it all up again & nothing. After messing with it for a bit, I had to scramble to get my old lighting equipment back out while my clients waited. After they left, I turned it all back on & it worked fine. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I will definitely be testing this out again to make sure it doesn’t happen again! I gave it 4 stars because of this inconvenience it caused me & my clients. I was going to purchase 2 units to begin with but decided I should start with one to make sure all works well & I like the unit. I do foresee purchasing a 2nd unit as long as I have no more issues. 🙂

This set is a solid choice. I've been using this flash system now for several months and an thoroughly pleased with it. I purchased it along with a diffusion bulb attachment for use with my architectural and real estate photography. I've also attached a ring to one of the two 1/4-20 points to add a camera strap. That allows me to carry it around easily.The flash unit is solid built. The option of raw bulb or speedlight is nice. The transmitter itself feels a bit cheap, but it too works really well. I've had no problems getting everything to talk to each other. And the battery in the strobe lasts! I can easily shoot all day sometimes two and not have to change it out.It's also quite bright. With the raw bulb, I'm finding myself cranking the power down 1-1/3 to 2 steps from where I had set my Yongnuo speedlight in similar situations.Overall, highly recommended.

I shoot weddings and need my equipment to perform. Worked fine for a while, no issues at first. Bought less than a year ago, and now it constant misfires- it'll almost flicker at very low power (than it's set to) for maybe 5 photos in a row, then comes a huge Burst of light- ruining that set of photos, causing it to be unreliable enough to not be able to use at weddings. Now less than a year in, my "customer support window is closed"...

Perfect travel light. This little gem sits in my travel kit. I’ve used for portraits and model test shoots. I would even use for shooting food.
