Real deal, will be buying more. I need someone to make me a custom sheath though cause I wanna carry it more often, and the factory sheath isn't really great for everyday carry. I would literally make this part of my edc.

The Fit and Finish are great. the sheath is as well made and heavy duty. Case XX has truly kept the Old Time quality alive in this knife. The finish on blade is consistant . The stacked Leather Handle is well exacuted and the finish even. The Case version of the M 1219C came sharp and did not need sharpening.

Good quality American made. Will last a lifetime. Easily sharpened to razor sharp. Holds edge well. Carbon steel makes a great survival knife.

I really want to love this knife. It is good quality for the price but the example I received is flawed. The handle and guard are tight so construction seems sturdy and quality. However, the blade's primary grind is non-symmetrical and the secondary grinds are very wide, showing that the primary grind is not thin enough when it reaches the edge. The clip point is not curved as shown in the photo but rather almost straight. Still functional, just not as pretty as advertised. The leather handle is for the most part very well-executed but again, the sanding and beveling near the guard is uneven and asymmetrical. The blade also has a prominent recurve which means it was sharpened poorly at the factory. For these cosmetic flaws I'll give the knife 4 stars. The sheath however is flawless.

If your looking for a USMC fighting knife that is an exact copy of the ones used during WWII, this is it. In my opion this knife is better than the KABAR made knives. This one has the correct round handle, not oval like on the KABAR. It’s more “beefy” in the hands and feels nicer. The blade also has the correct finish, not painted like the KABAR style knife. Quality, fit, and finish of knife and sheath is A+++. I own both the CASE and KABAR knives, hands down the CASE wins.

Words can't describe how opening this package made me feel! I'm an 8 year combat Marine Corps veteran with 4 deployments as a machine gunner. The smell, the feel and the nostalgia of not only opening but holding this kbar in my hand brought me back to, well, let's just say I took a trip down memory lane!If you don't have one it's because you need one! So smart to have pulled the trigger on the CaseXX knife, positive reviewers weren’t wrong. This knife has the look and feel of a WW2 fighting knife and didn’t have to brother with any auction site and lose the bid or end up paying thru the nose.Maybe it’s the fact that all metal parts are parkerized (Blade, Hilt and Pommel) rather than powder coated like the other brand. Although, the Blade’s False Edge, I would have preferred it left not sharpened like the other brand.Leather spacers on the handle are tight with absolutely no play, but were extremely dry with a weathered appearance as pictured on Amazon’s product page for this item. Two applications of “Pecard Antique Leather Dressing” restored the leather’s natural luster and color.Sheath’s nice too. More robust than that of my Ka Bar (Kill Bear) Sheath. Even though CaseXX was a bit sloppy applying the contrasting leather dye to the stamped lettering and went outside the borders of the text. Still a keeper!

This is the second one of these that I have purchased for my son... he loves it.
