So here is the pros: The outlet is easy to install and the app is easy enough to understand although if you are using Google or Alexa, you will not use it. Having this type of outlet you don't have to worry about losing it if anyone unplugs it like with the other types.Now for the cons: The reason I would go through the trouble of installing one of these is because I want to be able to control BOTH of the outlets. Only one is controllable besides the USB ports. If I knew that only one was controllable (must have missed the disclaimer) then I would have purchased the kind that just plugs into the outlet. At least those give you the freedom to move it anytime where ever you want although you may lose it if removed.

A few things... bought this for the smart features but found it was made not that smart. The reason I say that is because when I tell Alexa turn this off it turns off the whole outlet except for one plug. It turns off the usb is what I’m referring to. This is so dumb, it should only turn out the smart plug part only but I didn’t find a way to do this. The biggest reason im giving this one star is I bought two of these one lasted a week after installation the other is still installed currently. I returned both.

Product worked as described, included all mounting hardware and works with amazon Alexa which i love the most.. it’s easy to install but if your intimidated about electric and these types of installs have someone who is comfortable put it in the wall for you.

Bought this for a handicap friend. He loves having control of his lamp again.Update 05/11/2020The smart part of outlet has dead. There is power still going to it. Can't not reset/reprogram the outlet. They outlet is less a year old. Only smart outlet that has gone out.

I installed this into my night stand, usually wall plug are behind the furniture. Now I have it accessible and I can control everything with my google home hub. Dislike the part that is 3 types of on and off. USB, outlet and the whole receptacle, can get confusing with google. So far it has being installed for about two months and still working.

This smart wifi wall outlet installed just as easily as any other outlet and works right away with the app. You can schedule the outlet to turn on/off at certain times. Right now,.My favorite feature is it can charge two devices at the same time using the two USB ports; leaving the two outlets free for additional power needs.Free Up my Space .

The advertised way this outlet works, doesn't work. I turn off the main power thru the app and it does NOT turn off the full outlet. Other than that I am able to connect to my Alexa and I have been able to turn on and off the switches, just not the full outlet.

I ordered 3 of these outlets and had a hard time installing them. House is old so wire matching wasn't as easy as planned. Once installed, 2/3 are frequently kicked off causing me to reset the breaker as well as all my automated features within the app (the entire reason I purchased the outlets).
