I am glad I got this! It has gotten tipped over twice (but I have small children and a very clumsy dog). I think it will be fairly easy to reinforce with a slender rod down the center. It is easy to water, and even though we got a late start planting (and replanting after the dog knocked it over again), we have eaten a few strawberries that we grew. The item is easy to move and the wheels work well.

I got this as a vertical strawberry garden for my 4 year old daughter. I love that it has wheels to rotate the whole stack for even growth, I have mine on gravel right now so it does not turn on the wheels but the planter rotates inside the bottom tray easily so I just spin the top planters until I get it on a flat surface. I am also planning on putting in a rod to make it more stable but even without that I have not had any issue with stability (after having it about a month we did have a wind storm and it fell over once that was with out the rod). It was a little hard to get it together but I figure that is why is seems so snug once it was together, but definitely put it together where you plan to leave as I went to move it while it was empty and ended up having to put it together again.

I use these a individual planters but never stacked. When I got these planters, they were purchased as an addition to the larger ones sold. Being smaller they are much lighter in size, therefore making them unstable when stacked on their own. These planters do come with a hold in the middle for a separate, but not included, round pole or stake for stability. Without adding this pole, they are very unstable on windy days and will blow over, even when filled with dirt and fully drenched with water.

It is too unsteady and does not hold water.

I love this stackable planter. I wanted an herb garden for my apartment, and this is so easy to fit on my balcony. I bought a 1/2 inch dowel to put down the center, as others suggested, and so glad that I did. Once full of potting soil and plants, it's really pretty stable. I put my foot on the base and gently guide it along so that all plants are in full sunlight. It definitely takes a little patience to move it, but it rolls on my balcony just fine. I mean, c'mon, for $35, what's not to love? There are 15 places for plants (I also planted magnolias in the hope of keeping mosquitoes away). I'm going to buy one of my each of my children who have green thumbs, unlike their mommy.

Sturdy planter. Arrived as promised and quick delivery. I put greek oregano and cilantro in this one. Couldn't find strawberries so I went with herbs that we use almost every day.

I like this planter for my herbs. However, it took WEEKS (6+) to get it. My herbs were past their transplant date by the time I received it. Hopefully I will still get some herbs that I can use this year. Also, strong winds will blow it over so I need to move it when it is very windy

Product does not appear as sturdy as I hoped it would. It must be carefully move with care from one location to another. Live in an area where are Santa Ana winds. Wondering how the unit is going to hold up against the wind. Most likely will need to move it to a protected place from the wind.
