Great value
My little gymnast granddaughter has thoroughly enjoyed this...so much that her friend's parents bought one, and my other granddaughter had to have one as well. All are holding up well and allow padding for the constant tumbling, hand springs, cartwheels, etc.

Best Quality and Durability you will find in a Mat!
This is the second mat I have bought from We Sell Mats. The first one my daughter grew too big for in her needs for gymnastics at home. The mat has endured a lot and still looks great. This new mat has even impressed me more by it's quality just as good as the first. The durability of the mats amaze me as well. The bigger purple and pink one has velcro on it so it does not slip. Her latest feat is doing her back hand spring on it and I feel completely comfortable with it. Don't look anywhere else. The quality of other mats shown on Amazon is not the same. They may be a few dollars cheaper, but remember the saying, you get what you pay for. The best part, the mats are made in the good ol' USA!

Great quality 2" thick mat!
Great quality 2" thick mat. The foam is thick and supportive. The vinyl cover is high quality. No hook and loop but even better, there's velcro on the sides to easily and quickly lay more mats next to each other and keep them in place. I prefer the velcro than the hook and loop. The mats' price sound expensive but with the quality and sturdiness they are worth the price.

Fantastic mat.
I needed a large mat just to get down on the floor and exercise. This mat is extremely well built, yet it's light enough for one person to move around. It's also very firm. This isn't like a seat cushion or a mattress topper. It's much firmer. It gives just enough to kneel on and roll around on comfortably. And when I'm done it folds up easily and stands against the wall. The quality is such that it will last a long time. It was wrapped so well for shipping that it could have withstood anything. I have never seen a better packing job. This is a quality item that is worth the price.

Very dense foam, not a soft mat
This thing is very dense, I'm a 155lb adult and I don't sink into this. Think dense like high quality manduka yoga mat, but something 2" thick, and larger than a yoga mat. I was a little torn between the 1.5" and the 2" one. Cost and weight (I'm not backpacking across India with it) was secondary to me, my biggest worry about the 2" one would be too soft and mushy to support me in balancing/standing type moves. I highly recommnd the 2" version if you are deciding between the two, unless you are a little kid, then I suppose the weight of carrying it might matter as you don't need as much cushion. But compared to my 8" landing mat, this thing is a feather. some reviews complain about this mat that it isn't soft enough and it hurts landing on it. If you want something to crash into for flips and hard landings, buy a crash/landing mat or something softer. This mat is perfect for me practicing handstands and cartwheels and it feels much nicer than landing (wrong) on the grass or floor. I use this out on the grass in my backyard like a giant yoga mat for floor warm ups and other practice. If i think I might be falling head first into it, I drag out the landing/crash mat

After 2 years of use, the old mat looks as good as the newly purchased
Great quality mat. I purchased the same mat 2 years ago for our 4 grandchildren who live next door. We've had great satisfaction in seeing first hand all the use (and abuse) that it has had and still looks like new. No stretching or buckling, or tears. The kids are between the ages of 5-13 and all use it. They have carried over to my house numerous times so the can use it with our inground trampoline. This year the 13 year old asked for a second mat for Christmas since her gymnastic stunts are more involved and does more flips and such in a row. Of course we bought from this same company knowing the quality. After 2 years of use the old mat looks as good as the new.

Good Buy for Home Martial Arts Practice (Judo / BJJ)
We picked these up so the kids can practice judo at home, and I can practice techniques for my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. The mats seem to be perfect for these applications. They are much firmer than the exercise mats we were using before, and are sufficient for throws / takedowns done cooperatively. I would not want to take a competition-force throw on these mats without additional padding underneath, but they are more than sufficient for practice and technique work. For ground-work, they are really good. The texture is a little grippier than what you'd see on tatamis or most dojo mats, but they're not so grippy as to get in the way. Two of them makes an 8'x8' area, which means it's a little smaller than the space we'd want for randori / sparring at the gym, but as long as we pay attention and don't go off the mat, we can work our techniques just fine.I would absolutely buy again, and, in fact, am likely to buy more in the future to expand our home mat space.
