Perfect for me
This is a wonderful product depending on how you plan on using it.The product itself is good quality and it functions as it should. There are two main uses for this product that I will cover briefly in this review. I have medium length, low porosity, coarse, low density hair that is a combination of loose beachy waves, tight waves, and loose curls... and it's a nightmare to blowdry unless I really dig the "doc brown" look. The first, and main use I purchased this for, is to dry and set my velcro rollers. For that it works like a charm, I toss in my rollers on damp hair, throw on the hood, start my dryer (without heat as that is the last thing I need) and do my makeup. By the time I'm done (maybe20 mins or so) I take off the hood, take out the rollers, and carry on with my day! It has taken at least an hour off my morning routine! the only real complaint is that despite being huge, it is just barely big enough to squeeze onto my giant grandma rollers- which really isn't a flaw of the product so much as a flaw of my vanity and desire to have huge hair! Now, I have read that some people have used these types of hoods to diffuse their curly hair which I thought was genius! so I put all my product in my hair as if I was going to wear my hair curly, and in lieu of the diffuser attachment on my hair dryer I tried the hood. for me, it didn't workout so well. the hood is much too big and without the support of the rollers I had a lot of trouble getting it to stay on my head, even with the drawstring and chinstrap. then I didn't get the volume I wanted at all.So overall, the product works well for what I intended to use it for in the first place, and I would recommend it if you want to use rollers. But otherwise, if you just want to diffuse your curls, stick with a traditional diffuser.Oh, and bonus points! the hair towel that comes with the product is also amazing and now I don't have to wander the house with an old T Shirt on my head.😂

Does what I got it for.
I have no idea how this would dry hair quicker than just using the hairdryer by itself, but that's not what I got it for and I've never tried to use it for that. What I ordered this for is to use as a dryer hood for dying my hair. I've switched from permanent dyes to semi-permanent direct dyes to help the health of my hair and using heat helps the color really get in there and stay longer. And this thing works great for that so that I don't have to hold the hairdryer above my head for 10 mins straight. I can't keep it cranked all the way up on hot the whole time because it does create some hot spots near my ears and along the chin strap where the metal snaps are, but otherwise, it's great. I bet it would also be great for any other heat processes like deep conditioning, etc. I don't think I have the hair type to use this as a dryer, but for what I got it for it's perfect. It's easy to use and I like the little pouch that came to store it in. Oh, and the free hair towel was a nice bonus. I actually like it better than the microfiber one I bought in a store a few years ago.

So far so good
So four stars because I’ve only used so far for giving my hair repair masque and extra heat boost. I haven’t used for actual drying. The heat feels evenly distributed connects to my hand drier perfectly and the chin strap feels secure without being uncomfortable. I’m planning on buying another for when I have to do both me and my daughters hair.I’ll update then.Where I have 3A-3b hair texture she has 4a BUT the real test will be in drying. Her hair dries much quicker than mines even twisted up. My hair if when twisted ( Bantu knots especially ) stay wet for the entire day into the next unless I apply heat. Hers dry even when twisted.

How to deep conditioning for hair at home
The media could not be loaded. This bonnet hood hair dryer is great. My hair has these issues like dryness, frizz, and damage, and more prone to drying out and frizzing up, after buy this hood hair dryer attachment, I know how to properly deep condition the hair now ! Deep conditioning for hair at home is one of the best ways by which I could treat your hair with natural ingredients. I use a deep conditioner with coconut oil, olive oil, or avocado: these are the only ingredients that can truly penetrate the hair shaft. Other conditioners will just coat and sit on your hair.Use shea butter as an example, I apply shea butter from the roots to the tips of my hair. If you have an oily scalp and dry hair, you can apply it from the mid-lengths to the tips. The ends are usually the most dry, since natural oils take a while to work down the length of hair strands. Applying a deep conditioner to the ends will restore oils, preventing breakage and split ends.Once all of the hair is coated with the shea butter cover your hair with a shower cap or plastic bag and use the bonnet hair dryer with low heat, This will opens up the cuticle and allows the deep conditioner to penetrate your hair. Leave for at least 20 minutes. I have oily hair, so use shea butter as a deep conditioner once a week. If you have dry hair, you can treat your hair with shea butter up to three times a week.I attached a video from my best favorate youtuber, it shows how to use. hope it helps~ Wish everyone has a healthy hair~

Save Time In The Morning
Love this bonnet and the hair towel. My hair is a bit past my shoulders. When i'm just drying I put the bonnet on then tuck my curls in. When I style with rollers it does take awhile-but so does sitting under a dryer at the salon. I like to set my blow dryer on a lighter setting, then sitting down somewhere and reading for awhile because it takes some time to dry the whole head. I guess if I put it on high it would go faster but it's harder on your hair and my head gets too hot! Ive told friends about this product. Put it on at the bathroom sink and your hands are free to do your makeup while your hair is drying. That's how I usually use it... keeps me on time for work! Recommended.

Convenience!
I love that I can watch tv or play on my tablet while I dry my hair. My hair is very thick and takes FOREVER to dry. And I love that the tube has its own structure to keep things safe and the air flowing!

Works well
My hair was dried in 40 mins. I love it. I completed my school essay while I was using the hood.
