Southeastern Accessory 3 Pack Pool Safety Cover Patch Green Mesh 4" x 8" Self Adhesive

Simple repair for our winter pool cover that get occasional rips from our dogs running on the cover. Hold up great in our Michigan winters as I repaired a section two years ago and it still holding up.

I applied these patches last November. I was careful to clean the cover where the patch was applied and heated the cover and the patches with a hair dryer before applying the patches. At that time the patches stuck very good. I did have one patch that was useless because the adhesive surface came off with the backing paper. Now 9 months later sever of the patches have come loose. Is there a glue that can be used on these?

I used this patch to cover an area where mice had chewed there my cover. The hole was about 2" in diameter and this patch more than covered it. The patch was VERY sticky and I am confident it will last at least a season or longer. Even if it were to come off after a season, it sure beats purchasing a new cover.I added the patch AFTER installing my cover this year, which was probably a mistake on my part. I know it would hold much better if I were to patch both sides of the hole, and I plan to do that next year. So far so good and I would order again, even if the patch comes off later on.

Awesome product, it matched my existing Loop Loc cover, I just installed and it has endured 3 rain storms and doesn't look like it is coming off. Check with me in 4 months.In any event, this is very hard to peel.

I got this product previously to patch a couple small rips and it worked great.I reordered a set to fix one small spot and to have a couple on hand. Unfortunately, with all three the glue had adhered to the backing and would not come off. I had to rerun them as nothing would get the backing off without tearing the mesh. So they were 50% with me. I am not sure if I will try it one more time or not.

I applied the patches on one side only 2 months ago. We have had freezing weather and some snow and they are still stuck on perfectly.

These patches worked very well. Previous home owners built their firepit too close to the pool and burned little holes all over the pool cover. I was able to cut these to 2”x2” to cover the holes. I used patched back to back in the cover as other reviews recommended. This helped it stick better and will be quite durable.
