After much browsing for "THE" dinosaur toy for my 4 year old dinosauraholic, I chose this one despite some of the poor reviews. I believe one said it is too loud. It's a child's toy, some of them are loud, and this one does RAWR, but not deafeningly so. Addressing another review that criticized how difficult it was to assemble the tail assembly, it took me longer to get the batteries loose from their package than it did my son-in-law to get them in and insert the tail assembly. As soon as the wrapping paper revealed what the gift was, I don't know who was more excited, my grandson or his Daddy! It was my grandson's favorite toy, and has taken 1st place in his dinosour collection. Don't let a few bad reviews sway you, it's a quality toy, easy to assemble, and hours of fun.

It's too loud. It kinda give me a lot stress, but my older nephew loved it. The tail was a big problem. Always falling apart. I put it in the right place over and over again. The tail and the big noise not so well.

I got this dinosaur for my two year old son, even though it says 3+. He absolutely loves it! The eyes light up and it moves on it's own. My son loves to "bite" mommy with the jaws that open and shut. He also loves that it rolls as well as walks. I did not have the issue that other reviewers had with the tail as it connected just fine. I left off one star because I wish that there were two different power buttons, one for movement and one for sound. The dinosaur roars constantly and I wish that there was an option to turn it off. Overall, I would definitely buy again!

My son loves it, he won’t let go of it. This toys exceeded my expectations. I love how it moves, lights up and makes a dinosaur sound. You won’t be disappointed.

I brought this for a child's for Christmas so he hasn't played with it yet. But it is exactly what he would like. It came in a timely fashion. I would recommend this for children.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought it for my 3 year old grandson in Korea; I liked it so much I bought two more for my 7 year old grandson and his best friend. It is loud but that’s part of the fun.

The locking pins that are supposed to lock the tail in place won't slide into their mating slots on the dinosaur. Poor plastic molding construction. I think one of them must be catching because the tail hangs on just enough for it to work, but with the slightest tipping over or grabbing it the wrong way, tail comes right off. But when it works it's pretty cool...but for a 4 year old I need that tail to lock in place good. You can see it's not locking in because the back spike you depress to remove/install it won't spring back up all the way after attaching it, no matter how much you wiggle it. Great. 4 days before Christmas.I was going to buy another one, and return the other one later because I have prime 2day shipping, but the price is now $27 instead of original $22 I paid a few days ago, and it might be defective too. My kid put "A Dinosaur" for #1 on his Santa Letter.

This was actually for my husband and he loves T-Rex. This one can walk and roar and is amazingly fun for any age.

Broke right away. Only tried2 times and then wouldn't walk anymore.
