Vater Power 5A Hickory Wood Tip Drumsticks Pair

Vater has been my go to sticks for a few years. I love the feel and balance they give. I have used the big name sticks for the big money they cost. I prefer vater. They would also be good for beginners who tend to chop them up on cymbals. They are a great stick and most inexpensive to replace.

I love these sticks! The extra length is nice and the tips have really good articulation on the cymbals. I love the balance. Wish Vater had a loyalty program like pro-mark (D'addario), however these are usually about $5 cheaper than the other name brand sticks so I guess it evens out.

I’ve been a Vic Firth X5A guy my whole drumming life, but these are more affordable and more durable. I like the weight of a 5A but prefer my sticks to be a little longer. These hold up great. After a few practices there’s barely any wear. No complaints

Great sticks for the price. My go to is usually Promark Firegrains, but these are a good competitor for nearly half the price. Definitely not for the drummer who bashes their cymbals, but very durable if you're light with them. Surprisingly the tips did not break. The sticks have plenty of weight to them, they do not feel cheap in the slightest. Good sticks. Get them.

I’ve used 5A sticks for a very long time. Wood tips and nylon tips. These sticks say they’re 5A, however, these are much heavier than any I’ve played. I actually ordered these with a pair of 5AN Vic Firths. I’ve never used Vater series sticks before, but they’ve been around for quite some time, so why not try them. The weight difference was staggering. So much so, I had to inspect these to make sure they were indeed 5A’s. Would they last longer, don’t know, don’t care. If I wanted drum corp sticks, I would’ve ordered them. I kept the Vics and returned these.

Great sticks for electronic drumset

Is very comfortable. Feels very good in my hands while playing my drums. Perfectly balanced.

Primera vez que uso Vater y me quedé satisfecho compraré seguido esta marca. Son unas baquetas entre 5a y 5b, más 5a. Genial para tocar rock. La punta es más gruesa que una 5a normal.

Bought these to try since my usual sticks (los cabos 5a red hickory) have shot up in price along with most sticks. Really happy with how these have performed so will be sticking with these 😉 for the foreseeable future or until they too shoot up in price.
