Easy to play but a Thin and shrill tone.
To be honest I was expecting a bit more! The whistle plays well i.e. both octaves are easy to blow but the tone leaves something to be desired;( Sounds very thin and shrill) I have another Feadog high D that was half the price and that one has a much better tone than this one. I suppose you pay your money and take your chances, Very Disappointed!

Misleading photo
The tin whistle is fine, a cheap tin whistle that's good for learning. Two octaves are easy to reach and the whistle is comfortable to play.Photo is highly misleading however - whistle is plain brass one, not black as the photo shows.Item description does not explain this discrepancy, the closest I can see is that the whistle is technically listed as "assorted colours", although how someone would take that to mean "does not match any of the pictures" I'm unsure.Disappointing as I already have a plain metal whistle off a different brand and chose this product specifically (including paying an extra couple of pounds over similar) for the black as shown in the image.If you're looking for a plain brass tin whistle, there are cheaper available. This one is not the black one from the product image
