Very nice mechanical watch
I was reluctant to buy this reissue Marlin watch but bought it based on the reviews. I'm so glad that I did. Watch size, functionality, and looks are all retro. Silver dial turns from silver to light golden depending upon the angle of light hitting the dial. I would highly recommend pair it with dark brown strap for even more elegance.

Classy
So beautiful and works as a unisex watch. My wrist is under 5.5” and the 34mm case looks great. I’ve included a pic of the case on a ruler and though it looks like it isn’t flush, that was just the camera angle. It’s exactly 34mm and the crown is about 1mm.The sound of the ticking is quiet in that I can only hear it if I put it up to my ear. Maybe someone more sensitive to sounds might pick it up a few inches away though.Though I think the acrylic is true to the original, I wish there were a more resilient option as it feels soft to me and I think it would scratch easily. The stock band is nice quality and the smallest hole fits my small wrist (thank you, timex).Winding it is a little hard, but even though my hands have had strength issues, I can manage it. Glad I managed to get this watch because as of this review it’s waiting list only on the timex site. Overall, highly recommend if you love mechanical watches.

Timex Marlin 34mm gold dial Amazing
I always want to start off by saying I am not a watch aficionado. I just like mechanical watches, if I see it and like it I buy it, all within reason of course. I waited until the price was reasonable, $250 was too high for me, at $134 sweet spot. I thought take a chance Booyah when my Timex 34mm came in love at first sight. My concerns yeah 34mm and rudimentary Chinese movement, after a week not an issue! Looks good on my 7” wrist and the ST6 movement excellent for me about 9 seconds a freaking day, good for me…now no guarantees on what you might get, you can always get it regulated. The dial is awesome. Bottom line all it does is tell time, in this case less is more. Timex Marlon hand winding watch worth every penny to me

Good watch for women too!
I love that it is self-windinghis is a lovely watch--not too big, or banish in appearance. I am wearing ti now and it is just fine on my smaller wrist. It really could be a watch for either a woman, or a man. Once it is not hew rise and starts self-winding, it isn't necessary to do anything to it as it keep the time really accurately. I've wanted a self-winding watch like this for ages. I had my father's watch and it simply won't run any longer. It was a watch much like this in size and in its ability to wind itself. Now I have this one. It is truly elegant looking and the band is of good quality as is the rest of the watch. I am truly pleased with this purchase and love the way it looks.

Winbding Stem Pulled Completely Out
This a a very attractive watch with some bling, but the winding stem on mine pulled completely out of the watch after just a few days of gentle use. (I own other wind-up watches and know how to treat them, so the failure wasn't the result of abuse.) That failure was quite a disappointment, but a return and full refund were no problem. I won't buy another one of these watches, since I suspect the stem failure was the result of a design flaw.

Looks nice. The more I wear it the more that I like having a classic watch.
Revised: It stopped working after 3 weeks. That is a pity because I liked it more the more that I wore it. I did not abuse it. The crown and stem just came out. Amazon took it back with a full refund, because it was less than 30 days from when I bought it until it stopped working, and I still had the box. A real pity that Tinex would spend to make a very attractive watch, except that the contractor who made the movement was making junk.I only would buy this again if there were a good long warranty.Below is what I wrote one week after I first got it.It looks nice. Note that it is not exactly as depicted. The watch in the picture has black numbers. The watch that came has raised metal numbers, but they are not painted. The accuracy is that it gains 1 minute per day. That is fine for a wind up. It ticks at 8 ticks persecond, so it has the more accurate type of mechanical movement. The people who complainted about reliability do not know how to wind up a watch. When you notice the increase in tension, stop winding it. Do not just wind it up as far as it will go. Use common sense.
