This is ab absolute thriller and it will keep you turning pages till the last page of the book.

Grt book Michael Crichton books are really good to read.. the suspense awaits in the pages.. i'm not a frequent reader but..its good to read his collection of books.....

One of his best books.. The book is intriguing till the end and takes you on a journey of whats good and bad of victorian england.

If you are thinking of exhilarating adventure of which Crichton's novels are usually characterized, this one is not so. The plot set in Victorian England is a bit slow and meticulous compared to Crichton's standards. However, the composure and shrewdness of criminal is fascinating enough. Overall this is quite a good leisurely read.

The story revolves around person name Peirce who wants to rob a train which is used for the transportation of Gold Bullions. Robbing a train is no cake walk, soon he realizes, but he has a plan. With Agar, Willy and a few more men and women of-course, as accomplices, he attempts the most audacious act of his life. The climax of the story is the best part! Thumbs UP to Micheal Crichton!

Very, very good. Interesting if you like history. Keeps you on the edge of your seat with 'what happens next'. Very good and well written. Thank you Michael Crichton for writing this true historical account down in story form. I very much enjoyed reading it on my kindle.

This was an excellent story with lots of good historical detail. I thought a dictionary of terms would’ve been very helpful.
