We bought 3 of these for the doors at our business. They are a big help to let us know when someone comes in. There are many choices of tune from basic to long songs. We like the adjustable volume too. They are very small and not so noticeable on the doors. The batter on the contact is easy to change when needed. No problem with range to the plugged in base. We have dark doors, so the black blends in nicely. Recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I picked up this door sensor three weeks ago to know when the kids come in through the back door and its working pretty good! setup was super simple - just stuck one part on the door frame other part on the door and plugged in the chime unit in the kitchen. those 52 different sounds are actually fun to pick from - went with a gentle wind chime sound that doesnt startle everyone like our old buzzer did. volume control is handy - turned it down during movie nights and up when im in the laundry room. installed sensors on both back door and garage entry and the signal reaches fine even through walls. few things to note tho - the sticky tape is ok but i ended up using screws for a more permanent fix, and sometimes you gotta adjust the volume after power outages cause it resets. the sensors are pretty small which is nice cause they dont stand out but that also means theyre easy to bump when cleaning. chime unit takes up the whole outlet so you might need an extension cord if you want to plug anything else in. makes keeping track of door activity way easier without being annoying. the magnetic strips line up good and haven't had any false alerts. just remember to clean the surface good before sticking sensors on and maybe grab some extra mounting tape cause the included stuff isnt super strong for textured surfaces.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

If you have a small space or place where people are trying to concentrate or talk on the phone but need to know when someone is at the front, even the lowest volume is loud. I have tried putting some tape over the speaker to muffle it but may have to go to something thicker. There are many choices of chimes but most are not practical- way too long, like a full song! We use the chime as a notification to let us know when patients are at the front (in cases where the receptionist is away from her desk), so a short one ding is all we need and there is really only one option for that. Other than that, so far, so good.

I run a small one person office and this little device has been the perfect fit for what I needed. I haven't tried the other chimes as the one it starts with was exactly what I wanted.Easy to install with the supplied tape.

Love this chime for inside of door I find it very useful in my home . It is very loud, if someone attempts a break in, they will quickly run away!

I have had an alarm on my garage man door for decades and sooner or later - even with a fresh battery - they just stop working. I don't have a more sophisticated alarm system installed yet there, so it is useful to me to know when that door is being opened.This is a nice little alarm with a lot of musical options. I was surprised the highest volume isn't stunningly high. It isn't exactly quiet, but I expected to need the middle setting rather than all the way to the top.The key to installation is having less than a .4" gap between the magnet and the transmitter. Since few of us do physical measurements in tenths of an inch and that particular length falls somewhere between 3/8" and 1/2", it would have been a great idea to show on the instructions exactly what that dimension looks like so you could work around it. Concerned about having too large a gap, I installed the transmitter too close to the edge of the door and will need to move it this Spring when it is warmer to work out there. I also had a very hard time using the teeny short screws that came with it. The door is metal so I am hoping the sticky pad is sufficient to continue to hold the magnet on well. There is no information regarding use of something like Gorilla Glue under the magnet or Gorilla tape over it. Information like that would have been helpful.I have no idea what melody I selected for the chime but it is longer than just a single-tone ding which I appreciate, as it would be easy to miss a short burst amidst the other commotion here. It wasn't clear to me which parts of the directions were meant for every installation (a 'quick start' guide) vs. whether or not this set needed to be paired (it doesn't). All of that said, I think I will enjoy the melody and notification the door is opening if the two parts mounted on the door and frame will stay up until I can install it better in the Spring.
