Poor Puppy and Bad Kitty

We’ve read this a hundred times, and often give it and it’s mate, Bad Kitty, as gifts. It’s funny and educational at the same time.

I bought these books for my preschoolers because my daughter loved them when she was little (still does)! They are a funny exciting story about the alphabet that my kids love!

While I am not a cat lover I love Bad Kitty. The first book was all about the alphabet and food - this one adds numbers and geography as well.Bad Kitty won't play with Puppy so he must find something to do. What does he do? Play with toys then he falls asleep and dreams about traveling.I use these books with preschoolers and they love them. I think the pictures are great. And where else can they hear the alphabet, numbers, and geography with a funny story that includes a crazy cat and dog? We are planning to use the book for a week of fun events at the daycare.

Received this book it was in good condition no scribbles in the book my 9year old daughter read the book and said she liked it but it wasnt like her other bad kitty books were thicker than this poor puppy book this poor puppy book was very big print and not like the comic book style the other bad kitty books are. All in all this seller was a good choice for a used book I recomend this seller .

Son loves Bad Kitty. He hates to read so I bought all Bad Kitty books in hopes he would try reading more. I do not really see the merit of them but what works, works. The first one was the best!

I gave my 7yo granddaughter the original Bad Kitty book for Christmas, and it was her favorite present. I found a black stuffed kitty that looked just like Bad Kitty to go with the book.This book is equally cute and appealing to kids. I found a stuffed toy puppy that looks like Poor Puppy in the book to go with it. She loves this one as much as the first one.These books are so fun to read aloud, and kids don't get tired of them. Also they throw in quite a bit of education along the way. Highly recommend.

The book is a large paperback children's book, and I did not realize it was for a younger child than I expected. It could be read, however, by a child to its younger sibling, with educational material for both. It has pictures from around the world for each letter of the alphabet. Very nice for the right audience.

This series has a naughty kitty and a clueless puppy as main characters and appeals broadly to kids. It is in the comic book style that they love was well and that style also appeals to reluctant readers.After we read the first one, we were on the search for others and ended up reading the whole series. As a former teacher of 15 years I highly recommend it.

There was no question about whether or not I had made the right book selection for a young boy's birthday. He pulled it out of the bag and his eyes lit up while holding it up and screaming "Poor Puppy I wanted this one", then started to read it right away.

"Poor Puppy" is part of the "Bad Kitty" set. It's a great set for your readers. They're chapter books that are easy to read with pictures. A great transition.
