Beautiful product
Both my children have used this product and both of them loved it. However, the assembling process was not that enjoyable. When we were glueing the parts would come apart even after it had dried. I used another glue. Once it was finished, everything looked beautiful!

As expected
This set was easy enough for my 8 year old to put together herself. She loved it for her first communion.

Ribbon too short
Love the felt pieces, and the addition of glitter glue and jewels, but the ribbon to hang is way too short and wired. Doesn’t work for most pews. Also the glitter glue will not work for lettering. Dried up and cracked. We peeled it off and did painted letters.Bought more ribbon.

Cute Kit
This kit fits the bill perfectly. It has all the necessary components to create a personalized communion banner. The pieces are pre-cut making it easy to assemble. There are plenty of options so you can customize your banner. The materials are durable and stand the test of time - the glue has held and the colors have not faded. No complaints whatsoever - this was a winner!

Extremely Disappointed in the size
I had reservations when I saw the measurements, but with all the positive reviews and one saying it was a typical size for a banner, I took the risk and ordered it. This thing is barely bigger than a sheet of paper!! I will upload a picture. So so so SMALL! Our banner size is to be 12 x 18, and I think I can make this work if I get a bigger piece of felt... and see if we can work it that way. I am shocked at all the positive reviews. The only thing I can figure is that a smaller banner is used at other churches. Pay CLOSE attention to your guidelines. This is so small it might look awkward if yours is the only one so small ND all the other kids have a larger banner.**** UPDATE ***I SPENT an additional 11 dollars at Michaels and bought more felt some cord extra glue (which we didn't need), and a longer dowel so we could make the banner bigger, and meet the size recommended by our pastor. You can see the original banner is white. . That was it. That is how big it would have been. It came out nice, but I wish I had not wasted the 16 bucks on this. The banner ended up costing twice what it should have. Go to your local craft store first. ..

Easy to do, beautiful results, Faithful to God
I think it’s important for an event like this, that the child be as involved in the process as possible. My daughter was able to complete this with very little involvement from me. We sat together, and read the instructions step by step, but she made all the choices about placement and did the gluing. We added some of our own embellishments but the kit really provided everything you’d need. The unexpected bonus: as you complete each of the steps, there are short explanations on the symbolism of each item, challenging children to reflect on the deeper meaning behind the banner- Christ and his Church! Beautiful!

I'm not super crafty so this kit worked out extremely well for me... I did make a few extra "grapes". Just the white portion was part of the kit. Our banner needed to be 17" so it was slightly small but I just used it as a border on the felt background provided by the school. I DO recommend hot gluing all the items... the felt glue wasn't working out the best for me. I am very happy with the final result!

Just ok
Glue in the set is terrible and you have to buy your own or use hot glue to put it together. Not so easy for an 8 years old to do:( Other than that, the set is fine.
