The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Rip Van Winkle, and Other Stories (with an Introduction by Charles Addison Dawson)

Nice to send adventure books to my grandson, ones I read as a kid he enjoys too like his grandpa.

Easy and adapted versions of classic literature that is easy for children to be able to enjoy. My 10 year old loves all her copies in this series, but especially is excited to read this book because Halloween in coming up and she get to read "spooky" stories.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a fascinating story, but I purchased it for an eleven year old, and its original presentation, i.e., use of words, and small print are difficult for someone of that young age to read and comprehend.It is a classic story that I hope she will enjoy later on.

Bought this book last year for Halloween time. Read all the stories in the book which there are only three. They were great. The print is quite large so it seems that this book might be targeted more for your early to mid teen. Either way this is the best time of year to read the stories. It’s a great old classic that should be in everybody’s collection or library

This arrived earlier than expected and is wonderful! The illustrations are amazing and it's a little larger print so very easy to read!
