The Purple Kangaroo

I rated this 5 stars because I can't bring myself to give anything with the Michael Ian Black name attached to it anything less. I will say that my boy loves the books Naked and I'm Bored more than this, and barely ever makes it to the end of this one - maybe he's to little for it, as it takes some advanced thought to comprehend the amusing nature of the premise. Still, this book is vastly superior to most other books aimed at kids.

Love this book. Just read it to my husband and daughter for the first time. They both laughed and lived it. It's a truly fun and interactive book.

This is a fun book to read to kids, there are a lot of opportunities to make funny voices, and the illustrations are great and easy to strike dialog about. I really enjoy this book, as do my niece and nephew :)

The book was NOT as expected. It arrived crumpled up and smaller than a salad plate! My students can use it for independent reading, but it’s too small for the read aloud I planned to use it for.

This book is very goofy, wacky and fun.

My 6 year old thinks this book is hilarious. After getting it at our library and renewing it twice, I just bought it so we could keep reading it every day.Fun quick family read. My older kids even climb on the couch to hear and see the pictures of this one.
