Chicken Cheeks

This is by far my son’s favorite book!

The best! One of my 7th grade students shared with me that this was her favorite book when she was a little kid, so I got it for my 2.5 and 4.5 year old cousins' kids. They have NOT put it down in over a week. It is the favorite book before bath, after bath, at bedtime, and at 3am when they are not sleeping!

My boys (7 and 4) are obsessed with this book, they've practically memorized it! It was a big hit as a gift to their cousins too (boy and girl, 10 and 5).Very funny book! And be sure to have the kids keep an eye out for the ants in each of the pictures!

I teach four and five year old children in the inner city of our town. These children are from some of the most improvished homes in our area. Many of my children have never been read to, so I am constantly trying to find books that catch their attention right away. Needless to say Chicken Cheeks has become their favorite. We have to read it at least once a week. I have even adopted some of the new vocabulary words in the book to keep them on task, such as put your flamingo fanny on the carpet. They giggle each time! Thanks to my granddaughter bringing this home from the public library, I now own my copy from Amazon. I think this book is outstanding in the field of children's literature and is a must read for all children in elementary school! You'll surely want to sit your chicken cheeks down and have a great read,

This book has excellent illustrations and the very simple story line is fun to follow. I think that this book can be loved by children and adults but probably is a good book for fun at home. I would not suggest reading this at circle time during a preschool class. The content, while fun, isn't really that appropriate for that kind of setting and the children don't really gain anything from the book other than a couple of laughs. I think this is a great book, but I think this one is better left at home.

A gift for my granddaughter. Wonderful illustrations. Not many words. Make sure book is appropriate for child's age as this a book about animals behinds.

Best book ever!! My 4 year old and is 3 yer old friend crack up every single time they read it. So adorable and fun.

Love this book was such great gift for my niece. I mailed it to them. They cracked up hole time my sister couldn’t believe all the references to call back side. To funny I’m now the funny Uncle that picks out fun books.

Strange concept. Not that funny. Just cartoon animal bottoms . I don't get it

This book is so funny... be prepared for your little one to remember all different names for one's derriere

My daughter brought this home from (JK) school to read and we laughed and laughed.... GREAT KIDS BOOK!!!!! So I decided to buy it.
