Very nice, but too fragile for everyday wear
I really want to love these shoelaces, and the tan was such a great color to go with my beeswax Clarks Desert Boots, but they just don't last. I got two pairs in a pack and went through both in a couple months. It's really annoying to have a shoelace break right as I'm heading out the door. They might fare better in a shoe with more eyelets (mine have 2 on each side), but the stress put on them in the same spot from tightening when tying cuts through them. To be fair, they are marketed as dress shoelaces, not for chukka boots, but they still seem fragile.

Perfect Replacement For Allen Edmonds Badlands
I got these to replace a broken pair of laces on Allen Edmonds "Badlands"(brown). I was frustrated that AE does not carry the replacements for the Badlands in their online store selection. I went to my local AE store and was told that AE sources so many different laces as OEM that they don't sell what comes with the shoe. While I thought this was incredibly stupid on AE's part, I was desperate and took a stock brown laces replacement home with me. I hated them because they were waxed, round laces that were just ever so slightly too thick. They bound on the eyelets when trying to cinch them....... Then I found these! They are the exact same laces as OEM and they're great! Yes, they're cotton and may need replaced more often than other laces but I don't care. I love how they cinch up and lay across the top of the shoes. So for those looking for the OEM laces for Allen Edmonds Badlands these are them! I'd love to know from OrthoStep if they are in fact the OEM. Since they are made here in the USA I'm guessing yes.

Ok product
Good product, my only problem was that one lace had a dab of white glue on a blue lace. I cut off as much as I could then scratched off the rest and touched up with a sharpie

These Shoelaces Changed My Life
For years I labored in life with shoelaces that would not stay tied. My professional life was a mess. I would often find myself departing business meetings wearing only one shoe, having failed to notice the loss until I had left the building and was outside, making my way through the snow. When out on dates, I would often trip over my untied laces, falling gracelessly to the ground, spilling her drink and fracturing my wrists. Physicians repeatedly tested me for various neurologically debilitating diseases but could find nothing. Clients complained. Romantic partners became scarce. My health insurance company dropped me. I spent all my money replacing lost shoes. I stopped going out. Then, one evening, while alone in my apartment, I stumbled upon these shoelaces. They changed my life. I stopped misplacing my shoes. My boss gave me a raise. I began to run marathons. I took up ballroom dancing. My newfound income, stamina and grace translated to increased confidence. I got my insurance coverage back, and I am now dating a supermodel. And it’s all because of these shoelaces.

Got what I wanted
Bought these to replace worn out / broken laces on Clarks desert boots in beeswax. Can't testify to the durability yet as I just laced them in, but they came as a 2 pack. As in, I have 4 individual shoelaces from this order, so if one or two were to break it's ok. Color is a little darker than the original laces, but it still goes well with the color of the boots. Haven't seen any laces one Amazon that exactly match the color though. For length, I went with 27". which is what I measured the original laces to be. Thickness is about the same, no problem with getting through the eyelets.Picture: stock laces on the left, light brown color, 27" on the right. Shoes are 11D Clarks Desert Boots in Beeswax.

Perfect for Clarks Desert Boots
If you are a Clarks Desert Boots (CDB) owner you know that their laces do not last very long. I have struggled with replacements for years. I finally broke down and ordered them from Clarks directly, only to find that they were 6" (!) too long, rendering them useless (and yes, they were specifically for the CDB). I contacted Clarks several times, not response. I gave these a try, ordered the 24" which is the proper size for CDB and they are actually 24" long, as advertised - and perfect! The dark brown goes well with the beeswax, I like that they are not too thin and not too thick - just right. Not sure how long they last but they feel solid and you get two pairs for a very good price. I already ordered some in black for my black CDB.

These Laces Tie, Stay Tied, and Untie in an Appropriate Manner
It is hard to write a review about shoelaces. These laces represent, I guess, the pinnacle of shoelace technology. They are soft and easy to tie allowing you to keep your shoes on even if you are running for a bus or away from a police officer. They also stay tied assuming you tied them correctly (there were no instructions with the laces but being highly educated I figured it out myself with very little assistance) Thin waxed laces come untied very easily. They seem strong and I guess if you do not have handcuffs or rope you could also use them to tie the hands of evil doers or kinky partners Finally, again assuming you have installed them properly, they come untied when you want them to with very little effort. I used these laces to replace the OEM laces in my golf shoes and am very happy with them and will order them again if I need more.

I was looking for a replacement that worked good on my dress shoes
My factory shoe string broke after only a month. I was looking for a replacement that worked good on my dress shoes.Pros: The length was perfect, and as described.Cons: They are a little thinner than I expected. When my factory strings broke I shopped around looking for a good match and could not find any. I searched these and they were a good match to my shoes. So far they have help up good and I have no complaints.

Different colour, but mostly works.
Bought these 24” Brown shoelaces to replace my worn out original Clark’s beeswax leather boot shoelaces. I’d say the length is perfect. The thickness and general petite-ness is quite similar to the original lace, however the colour is obviously quite different. It’s kind of in the same tone/palette of colour as the rest of the shoe and of course it’s a brand new shoelace on a 2 year old boot. I think in time the newness of the new laces will mellow. Overall pretty happy. I do wonder if the Tan shoelace would have been a better colour match.
