Butterfly in a Glass Jar - Pink Morpho

I absolutely love these butterflies in a jar. This is not my first butterfly in a jar I recently purchased one that my cat absolutely went crazy for. Not only that but any visitor to my house would always comment on it, as it is a great accent to any Decour. My first butterfly purchase spent more time on the floor by my cats little house and favorite spot. I don't know who was more entertained the cat with the butterfly or my boyfriend and myself watching my cat interact with the butterfly.I have two younger nieces four and six years old that live next-door. They named my first butterfly Penelope, I am not sure if I was being a good aunt when I told them I caught Penelope in my garden. Every day the girls would come to visit Penelope the six-year-old asked if she could bring Penelope to her show and tell. This is when I decided it would be best if I let her know that Penelope was a robot butterfly.She brought Penelope to her show and tell and when she came home from school and gave Penelope back she was telling me what great care she took of her. I had to get her, her own after I saw and her eyes how much she adored the butterfly.I then went online and bought two more butterflies in a glass one for her and one for her sister. They arrived very quickly and were packaged well. Before the girls got home from school I opened the two packages and put the jars in my flower garden. I called them over and told them to look in the garden and maybe they could find their own. When they found there surprises they were thrilled's. I love the fact that you just open the box and the bottom fly works a immediately. I felt as though I redeemed myself as being the good favorite aunt that I am. I loved hearing the girls talk about what they're going to name their new pets.This is probably the most versatile product I've ever bought I am in my 40s and my friends love it, my cat loves it, and most of all there is to happy little girls next-door that love their new Pet.I highly recommend this product

My daughter asked for a butterfly toy for Christmas from Santa Claus. She didn't want a stuffed animal so I had no idea what to get her. Amazon to the rescue. I saw this toy and thought she'd really enjoy it. It's nice, but not as great as I expected.First of all, it did not come in the pretty packaging they showed when I bought it. It came in a brown box and was rather underwhelming. Also, it makes a mechanical buzzing noise whenever the butterfly moves. Since it reacts to any noise or vibration it will buzz when you least expect it. I do like that it has an off switch so I can turn it off while she's trying to sleep. However, then you have to remember to unscrew the cap, turn it back on, and replace the cap again the next day. So unfortunately, it sits off more than it's on.Also, since the jar is real glass I'm afraid she's going to break it. Now, it's a standard size jar and all the mechanisms are in the lid so replacing the jar wouldn't be difficult so that's a plus. But even so, she's clumsy and I'm just waiting for the day it breaks.Overall it's a cute idea but not the best execution of it.

I don't write a lot of reviews here, but I just had to for this product. My mother has moderate dementia. She loves butterflys. I thought that this would make a perfect gift. I was AMAZED at how beautiful this is! The butterfly looks so amazingly real. It flies around in a VERY realistic way, just like a real one. When you receive it, it comes with a tiny wire that has it in "Try Me" mode. You press a button and it flies around... it is truly stunning how the wings flap, how it rests for a bit and then flutters off again...it is not the same pattern all of the time, it is different and random each time.When you are ready to officially use it (or give it as a gift), you unplug the small wire. It then runs off battery. The batteries are hidden under the jar top. Any time that you tap the jar softly, the butterfly "wakes up" and flutters around for a while.This is so beautiful, I am thinking about getting more, in other colors.I am extremely impressed with this, it is so much more beautiful than I hoped for.

The media could not be loaded.  I discovered this butterfly collection toy at a 3 year olds birthday party. I ordered this within two minutes of the package being opened.My girlfriend who bought this for her three year old had this on her desk at work. The butterfly moves and looks at first glance like a real butterfly. Her co workers said they were going to free the butterfly she was holding hostage on her desk. She told Them to go ahead and let it go! They were amazed it wasn't real.I posted a video of my nieces adoring this cool little jar. This works for any age. I am smitten with it and now have a great little toy to wrap up for last minute gifts for anyone of any age.

My cat always wants to play when I am busy so I got this for him. He LOVES it. He will sit and watch it until it stops moving, then he will bat it around for a while. (I have the jar on its side and it is on carpet.) Then it's back to staring at it again. It cracks me up to watch him. I will put it away and he will come back later letting me know that he wants it again. My daughter has cats and I sent one to her. Her cats love it, too.

This was a gift for my girlfriend.I gathered the idea from my nieces Christmas one year, as they'd received their own a couple of years back.This thing is so lifelike, it'll fool just about anyone at first sight.The wings will stick from time to time, letting you know that it's not real, and the wire inside is a dead giveaway!Even with that said, at a glance this thing looks just like a true butterfly flapping around inside of a jar.Better yet.IT DOESN'T NEED HOLES TO BREATHE.Just extra batteries, here and there, which are included, and I haven't had to replace yet.Great product for just about anyone!ThanksBucky Wilsonwww.facebook.com/bucky5676
