Warmth/waterproofThis jacket was actually really warm. I was snowboarding in 20 degree weather and I was actually hot. I also wore it around and it kept me extremely hot. The jacket was also waterproof. I was snowboarding in the snow and fell a couple of times and at no point did the jacket get wet.ColorThe jacket I got was the white one. It’s actually a very bright white color. It is also designed for high visability so I was actually kind of easy to spot even in low visability.UtilityThe jacket had a ton of really deep big pockets. It made carrying things around a lot easier. The only downside was that the “phone” pocket (located on the inside of the jacket near the breast area) is actually really small and didn’t even come close to fitting my iPhone 8. It does have a slightly bigger pocket underneath that pocket but if you’re snowboarding or skiing your phone would be in an uncomfortable spot as it pokes you. This isn’t a big deal but it was a little annoying.Material/qualityThe jacket is made from really nice warm materials. It is a bit thicker than traditional snowboarding jackets but it was still really high quality. The stitching was really well done as well. The fur is also really nicely made. It got wet a couple of times and it always dried nicely and has not gotten matted and gross like most other fux fur.OverallI would totally recommend this jacket. I used it around town as well as snowboarding and it did a great job at keeping me warm and dry. It’s a nice fitting jacket and looks actually quite stylish and it’s a thicker coat. The only downside was the phone pocket but it’s just a minor inconvenience.

I needed a heavy-duty coat for spending my winter out in Colorado and Utah, and after a TON of research I went with this one in the grape color. A few pro's and cons...PRO:- The jacket is super warm!! It's held up on 0 degree winter evenings and kept me very warm.- Works for snowboarding and skiing! It's best if you take the hood off first.- Definitely water resistant, although I wore it in the snow and stayed completely dry.- Adjustable tabs on the side/waist to make the jacket tighter if needed.- Love the grape color.- Love that it's 100% vegan! (while Alpine North has other non-vegan jackets listed for sale on Amazon, one of their reps explained that they went down-free in 2018 and are selling their leftover inventory here. All their new jackets are 100% synthetic).Cons:- The hood is ridiculously huge.- You have to remove the entire hood if you don't want the fut (I wish you could remove the fur only).- It runs large -- I had to buy an XS and I'm 5'5'' 130lbs size B bust.Overall I would highly recommend this jacket if you can live with the huge hood. It's warm, functional, and stylish!

Beautiful coat that I received many compliments on. It’s warm while walking or hiking in a west Michigan winter. No complaints on the quality at all. If you slip on snow or ice, you’ll be well-padded!It is such a bulky and heavy coat, though. Unlike many of the lightweight down jackets we’re all used to now, it is Very Difficult to wear comfortably in car and also get seat belt buckled around.I have kept the coat and appreciate it’s good points, but I would not buy again due to weight and bulk.

This coat is really well made and is very nice. Has some weight to it but not super heavy. Lots of pockets and nice fitting pockets, fits my hands well and my phone too which is a larger android. Love the cuff sleeves, wraps around hands for warmth. The fur on the hood looks and feels really good, not like some that look like a dead raccoon. A perfect fit, ordered extra large and it's just enough room to wear bulky sweaters underneath but doesn't make me look huge. Also, ordered the blue and it's a rich royal blue, LOVE the color!! And LOVE that it is ALL VEGAN too!!!

I'll start by saying I live in Minnesota, it gets down to - 20 with windchill easily. Ive been searching for a coat that can stand the brutal winters here for 25 freaking years. I've tried many different styles, brands, kinds, etc but I've finally found one that will keep me warm ALL WINTER and for at least a few years.I did a ton of looking and comparing before deciding on this coat, I was worried it wouldn't be as perfect as a few others I looked at, that had a higher rating and 4,000 reviews, but I'm SO GLAD I TOOK THE RISK. This coat doesn't have a ton of reviews yet but I promise you, way better than the others with lots of reviews.I never write reviews, but I had to for this coat. It's soft as hell, warm, the freaking fur on the hood is so soft and cozy, it's thick and has a bit of weight when you hold it but somehow doesn't feel heavy when you wear it, 5 whole pockets that are huge, just amazing.I honestly wouldn't change a single thing. Yall can't imagine how long it's taken me to find a coat that can deal with the freezing cold here. FREAKING WORTH IT. 🥰🥰🥰

This jacket is warm and very stylish. Lots of ample size pockets and the hood is the perfect size. I also really like the long sleeve cuffs with the thumb hole. BUT…. I used the size chart to order my FIRST jacket. It was WAY TOO BIG. I then ordered a second one a size smaller. I was very pleased with the smaller one and sent the larger one back. Love my purchase.

I purchased this coat as an affordable alternative to a Canada Goose coat. I did not have extremely high expectations at all. Mostly because the price was so good and the shipping was going to be a little slow. Boy, was I wrong. I opened the package and it was immediately clear there was quality in the stitching, pockets, and down alternative. I got an XL because I like the option of wearing a bulky sweater under the coat on the really cold days. The size is perfect, the zippers are smooth, and the temp inside...perfect!!! I am so comfortable and warm in this jacket even in the teen temps. I have yet to have the opportunity to wear it in below zero temps, but I figure if I am almost sweating at teen temps, I will be good in below zero. Thanks for such a great quality coat for an affordable price.

I have never bought a coat without trying it on , so this was very risky for me to spend this kind of money without seeing it first. I was so happy when I opened the package and put it on. It fit exactly as the ad said it would. I am an XL and this coat still gives ne room to put on a heavy sweater and not feel like it’s too tight. The sleeve length is perfect and it is very warm. I wore it while we had a couple of weeks of -35 weather. I fed horses every day and was very comfortable. The hood is nice and big and even has a drawstring to tighten it up around the face in a blizzard. I like that the collar has fleece on the inside so when you zipper it all the way up it’s soft and warm against the face. It also has a nice little waist adjustment on the side on the outside that allows you to bring in the waist a couple of inches if you want that trimmer silhouette.The only thing that I wish is that it had a real fur trim. Faux fur is ratty and so not high end. All faux fur is made from petroleum products and I would much rather have a trim that is organic.It would look and feel much nicer and be actually being warmer as that what fur does.Other than that I am very happy with this product and am impressed with the quality that Alpine North puts into this product as well as the sizing that is so accurate.

This is such an amazing jacket! It is bar-none the warmest one that I have ever owned. I only need one layer of clothes underneath it, where my past jackets have needed several layers to keep me warm. The fit is great, with long sleeves. The high neck has a soft lining, and snaps up comfortably, so that a scarf is not really needed. The main pockets are very large. The hood is simply fabulous! It is very large with alot of long fake fur. My head keeps warm even without a hat. The hood is so large that it almost covers my entire face if I pull it forward.I am so happy with my purchase! Way to go Apine North...you nailed it! 👍

This coat keeps you so warm and toasty. I live in northern Canada and wear this on the coldest days. It is well made and has good deep pockets. My only complaint is the hood it is not very deep fur doesn’t come to the forehead so you need to wear a hat.

I took a chance & bought the x-I’m 5’4&135pounds&fits mid length.I found the hood somewhat large even by adjusting the hood,but will be useful on those windy days.Well made cuffs,stiching&rich red color.

Really love this coat! Fits fairly well. It is a bit big through the waist but fits really well everywhere else. Long enough to cover your bum. A must have for Canadian Alberta winters! The hood is large but not so big that it’s over your eyes. Easily stay warm in -35 Celsius.
