I had to buy another copy because our previous copy was falling apart. I can’t count how many times we have read it as a family. The last chapter is the best!

This was a favorite childhood story that I felt my granddaughter would love! I was right..... she couldn't put it down! 😉

I just read this book & it's an amazing book. I had this book "Socks" when I was in 6th grade & I haven't read it since. I was happy to find it online. I love this book. I have a tabby cat myself. Socks in a wonderful for a cat. I recommend this book to anyone who loves reading books about cats. I plan to share this book with my nieces & nephews someday. I think they'll love this book. I plan to share this book with the people in my family. I know they'd love it.When I read this book, it takes me back to another place & time. This book reminds me of my years as a young boy. I love this book. Beverly Cleary is an amazing author.I love the artwork in the book.I guarantee if you're a cat lover, you'll love this book. Two Thumbs Up!

According to my son, this book is 4 stars. My son enjoyed this novel saying how funny and interesting it was as the main character was a cat and the narrative written in the point of view of the cat. My son liked the cat's thoughts and "theories" as the cat wasn't privy to the culture and clues of the humans. My son says that this story "stands out", very memorable compared to other books in his library.

Granddaughter loves cats and loved the book. Definitely a hit!

Incredibly sad book. For the majority of the story Socks is shut out of the family, gets assaulted by another cat, then only in the last few pages manages to sneak in to the crib which the parents aren't happy about. There's no welcome back with open arms. From the description I thought this was a suitable book for a little girl expecting a sibling and perhaps needing reassurance, but I decided not to gift it after reading it. I don't think it's suitable for any child, even those without a new baby in the family.

Didn't really enjoy this.

Sweet little story, sometimes it was a little dry, but my 5 year old enjoyed it and was sad for it to end.

when i first read this book i couldn't stop reading it!this is defenley a book i would recomend for cat lovers!i love the way socks was in the mailbox in the beging! it was very interesting and i loved the story even though it was a little bit sad. i give this book a 5out of5 rating!

Great book for cat lovers of all ages :) If you’ve ever lived with a cat, you’ll easily relate to every little detail in the story.
