This equivalent to 13 Watts looks like it.
It is very difficult to show how well this lights up with a camera. Puts out what seems like the same amount of light as the 13 watt fluorescent bulb. Bypassed the Transformer. Which for me was easy to do because I do have soldering skills. It is fairly simple. Anybody could probably do it. Just make sure it's unplugged before you try anything. The light comes on instantly when you flip the switch. Very happy with the color. I use this at a workstation at home for my hobbies. Because it is Led with no Transformer should last for years to come. I don't normally give out a lot of 5 star ratings. But this is exactly as advertised. I found it easier to just bypass the Transformer than try to repair it or find a different one. This is a Ottlite work station/magnifying glass. Both base G23 and GX23 fit this light.

LED BULBS REPLACED FLORESCENT BLUBS IN OTTLITE MAKEUP MIRROR
My wife has an Ottlite makeup mirror which she uses daily. One of the original florescent bulbs failed (second time) and I bought these LED replacement bulbs. It requires re-wiring the mirror as the florescent ballast must be removed and the switch wired directly to the LED bulbs. I am quite comfortable with such projects and had it done in a short period of time. The new bulbs work great and seem to have a similar color temperature to the original bulbs that came in the mirror. We travel internationally for reasonable periods of time and I believe the LED bulbs should be more forgiving of foreign power (with a converter) than the florescent bulbs were. They should last longer too.

They don't last more than a few weeks of use!
They're really bright for the few times of use they do last. This is my second set. I returned the first set and they sent me a new set. This is a picture of the second set. I don't know if all four were from the same bad lot, or if they're just junk. I even tried moving them around the first light went bad, two weeks ago. The other one will barely turn on now.

Very nice - when they work. Beware.
It took forever for them to arrive, but I was very impressed with the brightness of the light in my professional fixtures that used to use 1000 watt halogen lights and these are 1/10th the Wattage and produce plenty of light for my purposes. But the turn off for no reason sometimes after being on for just a few minutes. They come back on when you bang on them. I thought it was the fixture, so I tried others with the same results.

Way better than old Fluorescents!
* If replacing the old fluorescent bulbs, cut the wiring to the transformer & reconnect the wires without the transformer in the loop. I used a screw-on connector to re-attach the wires (like what is usually used when connecting a new light fixture). Of course make sure the power is off! It was easy for this mom! We are very happy with their brightness. Two of them light up our bathroom. They are definitely warm in color. Added bonus: The old transformers no longer interfere with our antenna TV reception!

Short life, less than 5000 hrs
Installed in Feb of 2020, they seem to get a little warmer than I’d expect for an LED, but does have a decent amount of heat sink on the back side. Brightness and responsive for on/off is great.Follow up…July 2021 and less than 5000 hrs of use and bulb died. Difficult to find properly built LEDs these days….if they can’t be built to last then they aren’t serving the purpose. Disappointing.

dimmer than the fluorescent it replaced
Normally LED is brighter so I am shocked that these are slightly dimmer than the fluorescent bulb that it replaced. But the trade-off is that these come on immediately, whereas the old fl. bulb would flicker and flicker in a disturbing manner and I would often have to close my eyes until the old bulb was completely lit. Overall if you need a new bulb, these work good, just wish they were a bit brighter.
