Jellycat Inky Octopus Stuffed Animal, Little, 12 inches

We purchased this octopus for our 4-year-old son for Christmas as he loves sea creatures and especially octopuses. Having read the reviews I knew that some people found it to be smaller than they expected, but I ordered it anyway. It's the perfect size for my son, although he would have been thrilled by the giant one also, haha. It's incredibly soft, with amazing texture and "coiliness" to the legs. Though it's difficult to see the eyes in pictures with the gray/black color of the octopus, they're easy to see in person. It holds up to the Jellycat standard of well-made plush. There are no errors in stitching that we've seen, and the legs remain stretchy even when you pull them each out to full length. "Octi" the octopus will definitely be a treasured friend for years to come. My son adds, "It's really special."

Actually bought this for one of my cats. He was separated from his mom way too early and had to be bottle fed. He still suckles as he tries to sleep and I thought an octopus would be perfect. He does suckle it each night.

This is a GREAT stuffed animal! I was thinking the tentacles would be weak and floppy, but they have elastic in them so they stay curly. He's really cute - I should never have doubted Jellycat.

Cute little octopus. Def wouldn’t say it’s 12 inches, probably more like 8 but still cute and super soft like all jellycat. The eyes are hard plastic so I probably wouldn’t give it to a teething baby.

We love Inky he is absolutely adorable!!! We purchased the 12” for our son to cuddle with when he gets a bit older, but at the moment we do let him have Inky when he gets upset it seems to sooth him when he squeezes Inky. The octopus is very soft and just the perfect size for my little guy.

If you love Jellycats, and you love Odell, then Small black Odell is necessary! His tentacles are so soft and loveable and his plushy head is just as sweet. Whether he’s your first Jellycat or 100th, he’s just as you’d expect from Jellycat and does not disappoint whatsoever!

This company makes the softest stuffed animals! My one year old grandson loved his octopus!

I've been trying to love this adorable Octopus, but they missed something. My son loves the tentacles, they keep him entertained and the texture is amazing! However, it's hard to find this octopus's eyes (lol)! I'f you like the small details, this might not be the best Jellycat. Perhaps a different eye color or at least some bigger eyeballs would make it perfect.
