A Garden Of Ordinary Miracles: An Alphabet Book

The most magical ABC book EVER!
This ABC book is a treasure - a celebration of the beauty of the natural world and full of gorgeous paintings of flowers and chock full of humor. I fear it is out of print but any smart publisher should jump on a reprint! This is a book that every parent will enjoy as well as the youngest student of the alphabet.

Impressive!
Big book of arts and letters, flowers and critters and pretty colors. I bought it for my granddaughters, and I think they'll love it, though they are a bit young to really appreciate it yet, so there will be a delay in giving it to them. Gorgeous book with an impressive presentation, which is both formal in it's size and scope, but also humble, in the form of a sketchbook, packaged in it's own box as befits such a treasure.. Very nice.

Really Pretty
This is a beautiful book. We bought it for my niece for Hanukkah. Although I think she is too young to appreciate it (2) she will one day, and for now, her parents are enjoying it.

Beautiful creative book
I actually bought this as a Baby present. I purchased several - some to give to new parents who might have been given everything already. Also for grandparents who will enjoy sharing this book with young children.

Absolutely beautiful keepsake book
We received this as a baby gift before our older daughter was born almost 7 years ago, and since receiving it, A Garden of Ordinary Miracles has regularly been featured on our front-facing bookselves! Zakanitch has managed to make an alphabet of flora and fauna, accompanied by absolutely gorgeous painted renditions of the highlighted flower and pen-and-ink sketches of other plants and animals that start with that letter. Did you know there is a flower for every letter of the alphabet except for U? You're also going to want to read his "To the Reader" and "To the Children" notes, as they're incredibly inspiring!

A beautiful book - for young and not-so-young!
I love this book - it strikes an elegant balance between an educational read for the little-ones but is also engaging for those that might be along for the ride - or enjoying it on their own! The hand-drawings provide a warm and natural feel that makes it a really fun and beautiful book to learn the alphabet. I bought two as gifts and am planning to get another!
