Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame

Amazing piece of engineering. I'm the hubby who put it together. Review is about that. 1. Take your time. 2. Very very well written manual but this beauty has lots of hardware and pieces. Take it step by step and make sure you have each step right. 3. Make sure you have all the pieces before you start..mine did. If not, then call 800 number provided. 4. Take your time...I took me about 1 1/2 days...lots of bolts and hardware that goes a certain way. Once you get it put together pat yourself on your back then turn it over to the quilter...I'm not. It's a beautiful machine. Good luck.

I have been looking for the perfect frame for my mother who is in a wheelchair. It took me two days to put it together, but I wanted to make no mistakes because it appeared that there were no extra hardware, and I was right. The process was fun for the both of us. We were so excited to get to use it, but was unable to because there were necessary accessories which were not mentioned in the original advertisement. Also was not mentioned on the packaging. We were able to make our own fabric guides. Mom is a quilting fool now. Great and EASY to use. Delivery from Amazon was really fast and the free shipping was a plus. Love this product, love Amazon......

My mother has done lots of quilting using her old square frame. So I thought this would be ideal for her. Once I've got it and put together , it's not steady at all. I like the top part for quilting , it's the legs that not right for us. I will keep this and redo the leg portion to make it steady for her. The thought is great.

Had to return both orders due to damaged & missing items. 1st order showed up with the box barely intact, missing ALL hardware. Returned & ordered a 2nd package. 2nd package damaged (not as bad) missing 5 key parts. The Manufacture can not send missing parts as this is a discontinued item. Very disappointed in the product and hassle of returns. Do not purchase.

This quilting frame is just as I imagined. Reviews had me ready for a fight, but assembly wasn't hard at all. It took my husband and myself about 3 hrs. I'm looking forward to using it, just as soon as I get my next quilt top finished

This quilting frame was the worst thing i have ever tried to put together in my life took me 3 attempts and i had nothing but confusion i had to hire someone to do it for me and once it was together it is wobbly and hard to manage using nothing as the information described i would not recommend it nor would i try to buy it again and actually if i had it to do over i would not have bought it . Be aware i try hard to NEVER leave a bad review on anything i buy reguardless if i like it or not i have a choice of buying things or not buying them and if i buy a bad item it is my fault but this item should'nt be hard to put together not to use it should have been as it was described and therefor not MY fault this time so beware buyers .

Thanks to my Sister-in-Law for guiding me to this quilting frame. After getting this monster together I think I am going to love it. I didn't have my leader cloth on but I used it anyway it was great. Use 1/2 inch wrench not 9/16. After reading the directions many times and putting one side on backwards it finally got together right. No it won't fit under my couch like the picture or under my bed so it will be a conversation piece in my living room.If I keep a quilt in it maybe I'll get Grandkids helping. I will enjoy it very much.

My wife is a lifelong quilter and is in love with this frame. It makes quilting a breeze! Edit: It has now been 1 1/2 years and my wife has made many beautiful quilts. However, one of the bars developed a sag that made it hard to turn. I wrote the company asking for a price on a replacement bar. We were surprised a few days later to receive the bar in the mail absolutely free! I can’t say enough good things about this company!
