While the collection isn't actually covering Mickey's greatest hits.The book takes the uninitiated in fast but comprehensive trip to Gottfredson's Mickey strips. The complementary material is also excellent and the edition is a beautiful hardcover book.

I must admit to not being a big fan of Mickey Mouse offscreen. His exploits in the comic books either made him a boring suburbanite or a boring detective. Once I was exposed to collections of Floyd Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse comic strips from the 30's, 40's and 50's, I revised my views. Fantagraphics Books, which always turns out quality products, has released Mickey Mouse: The Greatest Adventures in conjunction with Mickey's ninetieth aniversary and their recoloring, choice of stories and editing makes for a very enjoyable read.Whether you are encountering these tales for the first time or revisiting familiar friends, you will find this book a delight.Highly recommended.

Very well done reproductions of some early Mickey Mouse newspaper strips. Shouldn’t be named greatest if it doesn’t include the most famous Mickey Mouse adventure, Mickey Mouse Outwits The Phantom Blot; hence 4 stars instead of 5.

El arte, las historias y el color son muy geniales. En lo personal no esperaba nada pero esta edicion me sorprendió para bien, altamente recomendable.

All I can say is fantagraphics have put together a beautiful big mickey book that's enjoyable for new readers of floyd gottfredson and old, I was taken back by how stunning this book looks on arrival and the page layout and colour work are top notch, you won't be disappointed with this book and at a fabulous low price a big thumbs up from me....
