This was the 2nd seat we tried from Amazon as the first seat was very cheap and rickety. Out daughter looked much more comfortable with the ladder part of this seat and had no problem getting on and off of it. Unfortunately our slender 2 year, 10 month old daughter kept slipping in to the potty as the seat opening is almost as wide as a standard oval toilet seat is. It might work well for the "average" overweight american toddler but if your child is small or tall and slender thinking twice about this seat. That is the only reason we gave 3 stars to the comfort category because otherwise it seemed very sturdy and well made. Wish we could have kept it!

This was worth the money. It made potty training so much easier. My son was able to climb up on his own and turn around safely. The handles and step stool make number 2 easier and less dirty for me with no clean up. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it doesn't fold up completely and takes up some room in the bathroom when not on the toilet. Also I always made sure seat was secure when putting back on the toilet because if not aligned right it would tip.

My son loves to sit on this potty. I wasn't sure if he would be interested since he's been afraid to sit on the toilet but he always wants to sit on this. The opening is a little big but he is on the small side so it may be better for bigger kids, but the handles are great and he's able to sit on it alone even with the larger opening. Easy to clean and so far I haven't had any issues with pee going anywhere other than in the toilet

My 2 year old is 35lbs and very tall. There is no way he was fitting on a typical Potty training seat. This fixed our dilemma perfectly and it also introduced a new plus to using this as opposed to the traditional potties.While learning to potty train he gets a more “realistic” approach to the “bathroom experience” When he is ready to go he actually grabs the ladder (this step will not be forever of course), when he is done the toilet tissue is right there so he is attempting to wipe his own tooshy lol, and when he is done he flushes the toilet.I think it’s because he is on the actual toilet and not on a plastic bucket.

Better than a small potty since they use the regular toilet. The seat is still kind of large, so when I started sitting my 18month old on it, it was not comfortable for her. I had to take a smaller seat the put on top. Now that she is almost 2.5, she fits fine and can move it from propped against to tub to the toilet and go quickly.

I have a small 3 years old boy. As soon we got the Potty Toilet Seat we showed him how to use it and that same day he went to the bathroom all by himself. He was so proud he said "Mommy I did it!!!. The only issue we have is he has to lean close to the toilet coz the steps is a little bit far from the bowl. Planning to buy 1 more for our bathroom upstairs.

My ONLY complaint is this:Difficult for boys, as there is no "cup" to stop urine. This is perfect for girls, but I am disappointed in it for my son. I end up cleaning up urine every time he uses this. (So I'm going through a LOT more toilet tissue).I reduced the number of stars as we get further into potty training. This absolutely NOT a product that can be used for boys. With no guard, there is zero way to stop the flow of urine from going everywhere except inside the toilet.I cannot express this enough: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FOR A MALE CHILD!Pros: toddler loves the independence of getting on the grown up potty by themselves.

The media could not be loaded.  Wow, wow, wow. There are so much great things about this potty ladder that makes us happy. We absolutely love this chair! It is perfect for our 3-year-old son and he loves using the potty now! He just walks into the bathroom by himself when he has to Go! Before we couldn't get him to ever go on his own! We are so happy with the product. My sister-in-law also wants one, so we are gonna gift our niece an orange color.
