Grayson Perry

Dont have this item anymore as i bought it awhile ago when completing my ceramics degree and since resold it. Remember that it was quite informative had alot of good images, the book was a decent size as well so you could see the details of graysons work more clearly. Was very happy with this item.

This book was bought as a Christmas present for a friend of mine. I was delighted with the quality of the book and how well produced it is. It has a very wide-reaching and though-provoking selection of Perry's work and I am sure the recipient will be as delighted as I am. Incidentally, this is a large format book and is surprisingly heavy.

We often hear the phrase 'essential reading', but if you enjoy the work and/or philosophy of Grayson Perry, this book really IS essential. The illustrations are superb; the accompanying notes are extremely informative and well-crafted, and Perry's own commentaries are both serious and humourously illuminating.If you buy it, be prepared for a weighty parcel as this really is a quality book printed on excellent heavyweight paper. I bought my copy from waldenbookshoplondon and they did a superb job of packaging the book so that it arrived in perfect condition.

Brilliant insight into the art and the world of Grayson Perry - packed with photos and some info for each piece by Grayson himself.No art-speak **** .Large format, loads of pages, couldn't be better.

Informed and entertained by Grayson Perry's Reith Lecture? You will enjoy seeing more and learning more about Britain's most intelligent working artist (my opinion) in this book. Pieces are described by Perry against good quality and size illustrations of his ceramic, and other pieces which give an insight into their creation. If Grayson Perry is your cup of tea than you can buy this book with confidence.

Interesting book with many considered thoughts.

Beautiful book inside and out. Full of a variety of Perry's work along with a lot of interesting information from him.

What can you say about Grayson Perry? His art is his life and vice versa. A motorcycle riding cross dressing family man with great ideas and talent who has worked in a number of mediums with great skill. His personal and family pics are endearing as well. A very entertaining book.

Excellent book about ceramic artist . Perry is truly a "man of the people".The reproductions are wonderful full pagephotos with all the detail you need toappreciate his patience and imagination.Some may object to his use of common language and occasional obscenities , butit's all in a good cause. If you want to understand the artistic and social ideasof Britain now- he's your man. This bookis an elongation and update of a book published in the late 90's.

I loved this book, I saw it in a Museum Shop but it was extremely expensive so I was really happy to find it on Amazon.As a ceramic artist myself I just love his work but maybe not for everyone.

This is a great book. Lots of good quality colour pictures.
