Dispute the negative reviews, it works great and want to get another one. I do suggest using a good quality two sided tape being placed on the back of your TV before putting the led light strip down. Don't forget to wipe down the area with some alcohol to make sure that the light strip doesn't fall off. The one problem I had getting all my devices working was making sure you have a good HD I cable and that it plugs in securely to the hub. I first tried to mount the hub to the back of my TV but that caused problems with the HDMI cables falling out, so, I let the hub hang down below my TV, that way I have easy access to it in case I want to swap anything around. If you want one of these and have a little technical savy and patience to install it correctly and take the time to work through the settings in the app, you will love watching your TV more than ever. I will try and post a video of it working.

EDIT: UPDATE 11/18/18 New DS4K HUB received and it still doesn't work with my Yamaha RX V679 Receiver in MODE 1 4K 60hz handshake will not authenticate just signal loss, signal gain, signal loss, signal gain til infinity.Before Purchasing or being enchanted by some YouTube videos, I suggest you go to DreamScreenTv forums and scourer through the forum post to find out mixed results, compromises and compatibility issues with a myriad of products. From HDMI handshake issues to Color Matching and the list goes on.I had to jump through so many hoops to get this thing to work properly, Yamaha receiver making sure it is in the Right 4K mode and this item is not compatible with the MODE 1 on RX-V679BL, Had to default my TV from some of the custom modes I had for movie viewing so that this would function properly. I had to jump through so many hoops for a plug and play system was stressing.DreamScreenTv has been corresponding with me via Email and has been attempting to correct via Troubleshooting methods. DreamScreenTv will be sending me another "HUB" device sensing mine may be defective. I will be updating this review pending the results of a new HUB.

This is a great product for anyone looking to include LED lights as part of their viewing experience. The installation took less than 10 minutes and the app is very user-friendly. My TV is a 55" inch Samsung which used approximately 90 of the strip's LEDs to cover the perimeter (28 on the horizontal sides/ 17 on the vertical sides). After approximately 3 to 5 minutes of use I noticed 3 LED's seemingly flickering out of sequence from the rest of the strip. I used the trouble-shooting instructions as well as recommendations on the forum and unfortunately could not resolve the issue. I contacted Dreamscreen via email and received a response within 8 hours letting me know that a new strip would be shipped to me right away. The strip arrived within a few days and works flawlessly. The professionalism of the Dreamscreen team as well as their responsiveness is top-notch and I easily give this product 5 stars.

The product works great, but you need to have some technical experience to be able to set this up. There are no clear cut directions or steps in any particular order, and if like me you have a console, then your definitely going to have a much more difficult time hooking it up. The app is not the greatest, and can really use an update, but, like I said it all works, and gets the job done. I'm very satisfied with it, however, would only give it 2 stars because it came with the wrong power supply, and I had to go out and buy my own; 2nd I took too long doing something simple that I've already done because their are no clear cut directions for how to pair the device with the app, and your particular set up so I had to look online to figure out what was wrong. If you want to use this on a TV with a console you need to replug your hdmi cord into the dreamscreen hub then plug the hub into the TV.

Using this product through a RX-V379BL with a Fire TV 4K, PS4 Pro, Altice One cable box plugged in.Very finiky with this setup, will usually take a few seconds to show a picture and sometimes refuse to show a picture at all (will also get flickering LEDs on occasion). The first kit that was sent to me flickered constantly, DreamScreen support was nice enough to send me a new one which doesn't as often. When it works it looks great and is a solid addition to an AV setup but be prepared to troubleshoot.

It works, but... Needs better material to stick to the television, and the app isn't that easy to get working. Once past both headaches that should have been solved out of the box, it's great fun.

Totally worth the money! Not only do I get tons of compliments, I feel this makes viewing easier on the eyes.No other product like this, 5 easy stars!
