Decent replacement
I have a 16 Rubicon JKU with the Alpine system. I bought these to replace a blown speaker bar speaker. They aren't quite as bassy as the factory speakers, but sound great otherwise. They were easy to mount/install, fit perfectly, requiring 0 alterations. I'd buy gain.

Vast Improvement Over Stock Speakers
Installed these in a 2017 JKU Rubicon, which for some reason comes with the worst sounding speakers ever, and the difference is night and day. After a short break in period, the mid speakers are pretty crisp down to 80Hz and the separate tweeters compliment the sound well.Installation was straight forward and the only difficulties are in taking the dash apart in the Jeep. I stuffed the speaker enclosures with polyfill (not too densely) and made sure everything was tight and sealed.Vast improvement over the stock speakers.
