Seed Mixup?
Like a couple of other reviewers have mentioned, I think these seeds got mixed up or something. I've had pretty good success with Ohio Heirloom Seeds, but these were never red at all, never formed any sort of a tight head of lettuce, and seemed to be some kind of a loose romaine type leaf, but with a different texture? I'm not sure, but it definitely wasn't anything like what I've seen Chicory be.
