Now able to enjoy scrapple again
Arrived rather quickly, the cost is a little more than I like, but, I’m willing to pay it because I now live in Arizona and in my opinion Rapa Scrapple is the best. They were delivered in a refrigeration bag with an ice pack that was still almost completely frozen. The scrapple was not frozen. Of course I sliced and vacuum packed into single servings and frozen them. I know you’re not supposed to freeze scrapple but I have found if I take them out of the freezer and place them in a heated cast iron skillet on medium heat and let them cook for about 8 minutes each side they are crispy on the outside and taste just like they were cooked fresh. I will be ordering these again once I am down to one or two servings

IT IS FROZEN
The description states that it’s shipped fresh not frozen. When mine arrived it was obvious that it had been frozen. The problem with frozen Rapa Scrapple is that it becomes full of moisture, crumbly and hard to get the much wanted crust. As soon as it arrived I called my brother to come over and eat some, we’re from Baltimore and now living in South Carolina. When he opened the package he could tell it had been frozen by the water content. Cutting into it it just started to crumble. We salvaged what we could and pressed between multiple layers of paper towels 3 times. We could get a good crust on some pieces but not all. I’ll just wait next time for someone from Baltimore to bring me some. It arrived on June 19 and had a use by date of July 4.

Best Scrapple in the World!
I grew up on Rapa brand scrapple, but having moved to a southern location, it is not easily available. The Rapa which I ordered came frozen, on dry ice, and was exactly what I was expecting. Rapa is far superior to other scrapples in their flavor and texture (which holds together pretty well after thawing).

Southern Scrapple
Came quickly packaged exactly as advertised. My husband couldn’t be happier - he now has scrapple to eat for a long long time. We keep them in the freezer for a special Saturday breakfast.

You have to come from an area that's eats scrapple.
Ordered this for my husband, he's from Baltimore and grew up on scrapple. If you weren't from an area that eats scrapple, you " probably " will not like it. It's an acquired taste.

Excellent!
the price point was perfect. The quality, flavor and freshness were excellent. I love Rapa scrapple and living on the West Coast the only way to get this treat is to order it on line and have it shipped. I saved approximately $100.00 using this Amazon dealer. I'm very pleased!

Moved down to Texas a little over four years ago, no such thing as scrapple here, thank you for helping bring it back into our lives again, it was a weekly staple living on the Eastern Shore!
