Evolution Power Tools ST2800 Circular Saw Guide Rail/Track Fits Makita, Bosch, Festool, (Clamps and Carry Bag Included), 2-Piece Track (1400mm x 2) 2800 mm

I have the same brand track saw and bought these to cut full panels. I know it feels like a lot of money and it is, but my view is that it is well worth it. The quality and accuracy I get with these I could not match otherwise. They are solid and allow you to cut straight for 2500mm (you need to leave the first 30cm or so free to put the plunge saw) You get also two clamps very usefull and solid, as well as two sliders that go underneath to joing the two 1400mm together. Obviously to join the tracks use a long spirit level or something else to make sure you get them right. It's very easy once you try a few times. I had to gently file the shap corners of the beginning and end of tracks before using them, to ease the process of getting the plunge saw in and out but that took two minutes it's no big deal.

I bought this track after purchasing the Evolution track saw, which came with its own track (identical to this one) but much shorter. I wanted a longer, more practical setup, and this extension track does the job really well. It’s definitely not in the same league as something like Festool, but for serious DIY users or non-pros, it works surprisingly well. The sections fit together cleanly, and I didn’t encounter any of the issues others reported — no bumps at the joints, no misalignment, and the saw runs smoothly along the full length. For the price, the value is excellent, and it’s a great way to expand the capability of the Evolution saw without spending a fortune. I haven’t tried it with any other track saw it’s supposed to be compatible with.

I bought this to use with a tracksaw of another brand, which it does perfectly well. There are two points that are worth noting with these tracks. Firstly, and most annoyingly, they can be a little hard to get a dead square connection when you connect them up. This isn't something unique to these tracks, as any track with a connection can be a bit fiddly to get set up well. The slightly more annoying thing of note is that whereas makita and festool tracks have an open t slot along the top of their tracks, this track has two t slots on its underside, which makes for a very clean track and more space for clamps, but does mean that if you wish to use any track accessories like a parallel guide, then this won't work. In all honesty, it's not a huge problem unless you use your tracksaw for finer joinery projects, and I'm more than happy to trade off for the price saving over the festool track which is over £300 (!) The bag is decent - probably better for not having zips - and the clamps are...passable. Absolutely good enough considering the overall price.

Nice quality saw guide rails. Great for trimming the length of a door. Good value

This is brilliant for making accurate cuts. The guide clamps onto your sheet material and you can cut a perfectly straight line. One thing I didn't realise is that there is a soft rubber edge to the guide. When you make your first cut, it cuts along the rubber. This is intentional as it calibrates the edge but it feels wrong when you do it! Just remember to make a trial cut first so you get the edge right and then you are ready to make accurate cuts. The only quibble with this is that sometimes you need both halves but for shorter cuts you just need one of them, but it's a hassle clamping the two halves together and then detaching them again. Ideally you would have a long 2.8m guide and a separate 1.4m guide so you wouldn't need to do this.

Glad I bought this & should have done long ago...as you'd expect from evolution ..the tool ( saw ) is quality .powerful & built to last..the tracks are easy to use & set up..liked it so much I bought extra track to expand my kit , its been god send..used it so many times since I bought it..no more struggling to cut long boards accurately...should have had this in my tool kit years ago...been a life saver in terms of getting perfect accurate cuts ( bathroom / kitchen fitter )

I bought this when it was offered at a reduced price and couldn't be happier, it certainly makes cutting large boards easier. Now that I have it I wouldn't want to be without it. I found this track saw guide easy to use; it has sped up my work rate considerably. Like all the Evolution range it's not the highest quality, but again like all the Evolution range it's more than adequate for most people.

He comprado esta guía para mi sierra de incisión parkside performance PPTSA 20-Li A1 y encaja casi a la perfección. La goma para evitar el astillado con el corte es un poco larga para este modelo de sierra pero lo importante es que libra el aluminio, así que tras el primer uso cortamos el sobrante y sigue funcionando perfectamente. La uso principalmente para corte de tablero y con las gomas antideslizantes sin problema. Con una longitud de 2,8 metros total (dos piezas de 1,4 metros) tienes para cualquier corte prácticamente. Y el sistema de unión de las dos partes de la guía es sólido y sin holguras. Los sargentos no los he usado de momento. Son un buen complemento, pero para usar en obra es demasiado lento, y con las gomas antideslizantes (y bien apoyado) es más que suficiente.

Prima guide rail. Het werkt erg fijn. Alleen was het even zoeken hoe de zaag precies af te stellen, waardoor ik iets teveel van de splinter guard strip heb aangehaald. Een deze blijkt dus nergens verkrijgbaar. Amazon verkoopt deze niet. Evolution zelf wel, maar verzonden vanuit UK met 50€ verzendkosten. Ik heb deze in Nederland niet gevonden. Sowieso slijt deze strip bij het gebruik, staat ook zo in de handleiding. Maar zonder strip is het product onbruikbaar.

J'attendais avec impatience les rails , je ne suis pas déçu. Très bonne qualité, la housse de protection permet de ranger les deux rails. Pas besoin d'acheter le rail de ma marque d'outils, qui est très cher au passage pour plus petit en plus, celui-ci fait vraiment l'affaire, les deux pattes aciers pour doubler la longueur est très efficace, ainsi que les deux serre-joints. Super rapport qualité prix, n'hésitez pas si vous devez vous équiper.

When you mate the pieces together they are not parallel. I had to make one end of each track with how out of square they were. Just fractions of degree. But enough to cause issues. I also tried to use they with Makita and Fluval tracks and a Makita track saw. Just needed a little more length. It will be usable but with some adjustment and work around. The metal is very soft and easy to nick or dent. I would have included pictures but I gave them away. If you need these for anything other than once or twice with light use, spend the money for the name brand ones.
