I live on a 32 foot motor yacht all summer long, and I love these window locks.! They keep the boat secure when at the dock, even when we go to other marinas that we don't often visit.. But better than that, they keep the windows from sliding open when we are underway.! Waves and chop use to open all the windows on the boat when we headed out to travel, but now they stay right where we want them.! Sounds like a small thing to have windows open on a boat, but NOT when you have waves on the beam and water splashing in on your bed.! I don't mind a little spray on the bridge deck, or in my face.. That's part of the fun of boating.. But I want a dry bed when I get to lay down after a hard day of sea spray and sun in the eye, cruising.! If I ever sell this boat, I will have to buy more of these.! It just wouldn't be right to take them off, and put the next skipper through, what I went through, before I knew about these window locks.!

This is one of my favorite items I have ever bought. Give's me a peace of mind to be able to lock windows open so Noone can get in or open my windows any wider that what I put them at. I can double lock windows when they are closed. Great peace of mind. They are built sturdy and function well. Great product!

I am a Machinist. Most people would not be so critical. I sat down and deburred the parts. Extrusion was made then anodized. Drilled and tapped but some were .020 into the wall making them lockup or rough. Saw left a non-anodized surface and burrs. Screw threads where rolled and left a burr at the end to dig into the side of you window-sill. You get what you pay for. They work ok.

This is an old school but highly effecient way to secure your windows that has lasted the test of time, but time may be its biggest problem. The jaw opening is not wide enough to fit modern windows as the metal single pain windows are not used in todays era of construction. Im sure there are some brands of modern windows that product with accommodate, but as with my, my neighbors and my parent window…. Nope. I tried to increase the opening, but have been unsuccessful so far. Not worth the time it would take to return it. I will find someone with the means and ability to adjust the jaw opening. I love this syle of window lock and still use the ones I bought over 30 years ago, but the jaw opening works on modern windows…. Did someone tey and fix something that wasnt broke?

I though they were universal window locks but they did not fit my windows.

The media could not be loaded.  The security locks work wonderfully, however some are cross threaded and won't sit right to tighten down. We use them in our rentals to insure a snug and tight closure. *Sorry the only video I have with the clips on the windows is one with me reviewing a product to remove years of smoke build up. It worked like magic to clean off the crud, it's just me. Clean bathroom foaming cleaner and we will be adding it to our rental clean up kits after this experience.
