Listen to me before you buy these
Too big for me, I sold my blades and clippers separately, because the blades weren't that great in cutting a fade after a few uses. These clippers felt great, but, once I've learn that having an adjustable clipper can really up your fading game, I got rid of these and bought adjustable. They were great, but, too bulky and the wire was getting annoying. I did a lot of research and I guess I didn't realize how important it was to have an adjustable clipper. Bought the Wahl 1919 100 anniversary edition and they're amazing. If these is your style, they are good clippers, but, the changing out with the blades can be a bit more work than you need.

Love Oster 76!
I have show dogs I groom. My last pair was bought in 1996. This is built just like that pair, so I am hoping to get 20 years out of them as well. Speedy delivery, nice clean packaging. Can't beat 1 year warranty with no extra cost. Well built!

Oster 76 Rocks!
Oster 76 is the best clippers for my barber business! They cut so clean and the interchangeable blades make it versatile. I won’t use anything else!

Thought being more expensive might make them better.
I'm not sure how long I've been shaving my head but it's been for the better part of my life. I've owned many pairs of clippers over the years, mostly Wahl. I've tried to replace clipper blades when they got to feeling like they were ripping my hairs out, but they never seemed to work like new once they got to that point.I figured I would splurge on the Oster Clippers. What can I say about them? First off, there is a major difference in how it feels when it's cutting. It's definitely smoother than any other clippers I have used before. It doesn't seem like it's cutting into skin ever...it just feels smooth. The clippers themselves are rather big and awkward. They do have a tendency of getting hot and maybe more concerning is that you can hear the motor operating differently as they are being used...at least on my set. The tone of the motor changes depending on how long they've been running.Do they work? Yes, absolutely. They cut hair. I'm not sure that I love them over the Wahls, especially at the price point. I guess I was hoping to buy a pair of clippers that I could buy once, cry once and never have to buy another set...I'm not sure that these Osters are it though.

Love these so much. A bit heavy however, can't find a better clipper!

For professional use only!
If you are not in the barber business, you may want to use something a little less intimidating!

Not what I hoped for
Quick version: Cuts good, quiet, strong motor, and feels like quality but that's where it ends. Heavy and has the MOST awkward blade angle unlike any of the 20 or more clippers I've ever owned. Blade angle really sucks if you cut your own hair like I do. No taper lever, instead you switch between a 0 and 1 blade and then add your attachment. Switching isn't always easy, Especially if you let it close before 2nd blade is reattached- almost impossible to re-open and it's easy to make this mistake by just tapping it accidentally. I was honestly very disappointed for the price I paid. Cuts great, but so many options that would've been better for me
