The pot must be be turned counterclockwise many turns to reduce output voltage
How do they make this product so cheap? To build it would take 3 times the cost. Works great as I need 4.5 volts from 12 volts to feed some LED displays which only take 3 AA cellsKeep turning the pot screw anticlockwise or Counterclockwise many turns until the voltage is reduced

Very useful
I liked the whole thing, I especially liked the input and output display, saves having to hold a meter in position whilst adjusting the output voltage.

It's in the bin
Rubbish, one terminal didn't work at all so I had to solder to the board. When powered up, the voltage stuck at 11.4v ( 12v input) and could not be adjusted no matter how many times the pot was turned, rubbish.

A nice design but…
Knocking one star off for lack of instruction! I thought this was faulty as the output didn’t change when turning the screw. I started a return and looked for an alternative.I found one and looking at the pics it said that if the voltage doesn’t change keep turning the screw anticlockwise until it does.I tried it on this one and yes, it worked!

Great unit
Great unit & at a great price once you work out the adjusting screw takes a lot of turning to adjust voltage

Exactly what I needed
The media could not be loaded. Wanted to power a 14v tv/monitor from a 18v Bosch battery. Once the power was connected I could see the input Voltage and output on the clear lcd display. I was able to adjust the small screw, to turn the power down to the required output (14V).Just got to wire it all again but neater and we're good to watch the world cup wherever and whenever I want. Usb-C to Hdmi lead to connect my phone to the monitor and I can pretty much watch anything I want. (SKY GO DOES NOT SUPPORT EXTERNAL SOURCES TO WORK!)

Cheap and poor
Yes it was cheap and you get what you pay for. Although it held output voltage steady when set, the output adjustment is very uneven and jerky. For twice the price you can get a very good buck.

Works well
Bought this to convert my daughters Aldi electric motorbike from the internal 6V battery to an external DeWalt 18V battery. I didn't want it running at 18v and this device meant I can adjust the output down to a more reasonable 12v and adjust it and in turn the top speed as necessary. The trike is running great now, much more entertaining!
