great for the class room or plant pH control
Some plants need specific pH water to thrive. I use this to balance the number to where I want. ofcourse youll want to be in the lower ranges but they work great. Containers are well built and dont leak. I checked the pH with some strips and the levels were bang on. I thought for the price it was worth it.

Good value for pH references
These are the go-to reference solutions for testing the acid levels in wine. This brand has a 2-year expiration date. The coloration of these references makes it easy to not mix them up.

Works and seems to be an accurate reference material.
My only gripe is that it smells very strongly of wintergreen. Your instrument will smell of wintergreen even after you rinse it, meaning something is left coating your sensitive and highly expensive ph meter. This doesn't seem to impact performance however. And other reference materials are not as fairly priced, so its a good buy. My bottles arrived leak-free and were packaged well. I would reccomend this product as long as you can stand the minty-fresh smell that hangs around on your instrument for several days. Atleast it smells fresh i guess!

Works as advertised
I regularly use this product to recalibate my blue labs pH meter. Whenever I recalibrate, it reads to 4.0 and 7.0 and the meter calibrates successfully - exactly what it's supposed to do. Blue Labs recommends that you store your meter in the 4.01 solution in order to extend the life of your meter. I use a different product for that, but general knowledge agrees that this will extend the life of your meter. This product will do what is advertised at a reasonable price. You shouldn't be disappointed if you buy it too.

Necessary to install New Probe
The probes do not last more than 2 years, and if you ever calibrated them, you need to re-calibrate when you buy a new probe. Upon new probe install, Calibration was off .3 pH. I double checked with old probe, Calibration was necessary. I do not use the 10.0 pH test sample - it seems to throw off measurements under a pH of 8.0 or less.
