Very strong and effective. Compare with on shelf branded drainage cleaner this one is cheaper priced and lesser quantity works good.

Product is good
Product is really good. It help to clear drainage issue.as returned- use gloves and mask while using it. Its very hot when you hold it in hand. So while using don't even try to hold it for longer time.

Use it for Chimney Cleaning
I ordered this product for cleaning of Chimney filter. My filters were real soggy and full of oil. Oil was dripping when i removed them. First I covered both the filters with caustic soda flakes, using a hand gloves. then poured bouling hot water on it. lest it to soak for one hour. Then cleaned it on running water. There were still some grease lauer left. I cleaned with normal liwuid soap and scotch bright. The filters are clean as new. I recommend this product for chimney cleaning as well. Use mask and hand gloved when you use it. The product is extremely corrosive!

Packaging needs to be changed
Product is caustic soda. Works accordingly. No issues there.However, packaging is not for storage of the substance. Stapled and not even heat sealed. Caustic soda considering its corrosive and highly reactive nature should be put in high quality plastic resealable covers or jars.

Good item at reasonable cost.
I emptied the pouch and filled it in a plastic jar.Dont touch it with bare hands nor smell it or open in closed room. Its gaseous. Then I used it for clearing drain, its sheerness in removing/clearing block is good.Later I put some into normal water and mixed it with plastic material and soaked my chimney grill with full oil and dirt in this for 5 minutes. The full items got clean, later cleaned it with normal water and dried it. I used my plastic gloves for using this.

The Sodium Hydroxide does not even melt in HOT WATER!!!
This is Something Else - It should be Sodium Hydroxide Flakes and these DONT Even MELT in HOT HOT WATER, It sat there for 2 hours and still It does not Melt. I even made it into fine powder !!! BUT it still did not melt - DO NOT BUY!!!!

It works
It's better to buy this one than spending too much for other products. This one actually works. Genuine product. Good packing and prompt delivery.You just need to put a half teaspoon of this product in you sink drain overnight and next day all clear!!!!
