Sandast started in 2006 with a simple idea, "Use inspiration from the past to create a collection of items using handcrafted techniques in the best materials available." We would always be looking out for that special bag, belt, or piece of luggage that was not only made to last, but had that a "well worn" look that gave it a kind of soul. You would come across an old piece that was beautiful, but wouldn't fit or was too damaged to use. On the other hand you may find a bag that "looks" great but you pick it up and it's mass produced, using sub-quality leather, fabrics, and hardware. All of our goods are handmade and finished using the best materials along with solid brass fittings.
