The bulbs are great and the colors are vibrant. I gave this 4 stars because the app is not great. It works but sometimes takes 30 - 60 seconds to connect to each bulb. It gives you the option to alternate colors but you can't pick the colors do you're limited to a single mode, which is one color at a time. The other issue I have with the app is that it only lets you connect one device at a time, which is okay but it would be nice if I can have multiple devices connected.

Bottom line: They're great lights if you only need one controller. They're useless if you need a second controller or want to define your own color schemes.Details: I purchased these for our bedroom. I installed them, downloaded the app and they connected right up. I like the colors and brightness levels.The most significant problem is they will only connect to one phone. A second phone will not even identify them as existing. I can't even identify a way to disassociate the lights from my phone so my wife can control them. Also, the application lacks a suitable function to create custom color schemes.

This is just the shade of red I was looking for in my living room. Easy to use no hub needed.

I bought these light bulbs because my old wif light bulbs no longer work with the new router my cable company provided me. These light bulbs are supposed to work without wifi AND connect to Alexa. Well the light bulbs work but they do NOT connect to Alexa at all. I am returning them.
