Yu-Gi-Oh! KONLC2 Legendary Collection 2-Gameboard Edition

Great overall product.Out of all the lega dary collections, my least favourite, however is a must buy for all collections.Cards set is great, pleased with the promotional cards, the box and gameboard.Delivery was earlier than expected. No complaints.

This review needs to be prefaced by me saying that I'm not a fan of any entries in the franchise above this general incantation, and this is a review from the perspective of someone who pretends anything after "The Duel Academy Years" doesn't exist. I didn't purchase this for the potential value of the cards, dedicated collecting, playing or anything aside from nostalgia.I was really hoping this set would end up getting another run due to missing it the first time, and it seems like my wish was fulfilled ahead of this winter. I'm a huge fan of older Yu-Gi-Oh cards for nostalgia's sake, and this entire package is pretty much perfect for that as you're guaranteed to at least get the sacred beast cards in the package. You'll get a pretty big kick out of the packs too if you remember "The Duel Academy Years", because while the cards may no longer be viable for playing in standard matches, you'll probably recognize most of them from the old show.However, the cards aside for a moment, a big show stealer from this entire set is the gameboard in my opinion. If you play the card game you've probably got one or two boards or mats already, but if you haven't, the one included in this package is very nice and feels like it'd be quite durable for playing the game. Side note; the design on one side is a really nice illustration of the sacred beasts and the other is essentially the character portraits from the card packs themselves, perfect for the cards they come with.The only real gripe I have with the set overall is the inclusion of cards which weren't featured in the show. They could've been used in the manga as far as I really know, but things like Elemental Hero Stratos certainly weren't used, and I can confirm that from rewatching the show fairly recently. Despite this, the vast majority were featured in the show in some capacity, so you'll still be able to recognize most of them.If you want a dose of nostalgia, pick these up! If you're interested in getting into Yu-Gi-Oh, buying this as a gift for a fan of the current series or any other reason, perhaps do a little more research or pick something else up as these won't be for you.

Great pick up for fans of GX era!! Some great cards, like Elemental/Destiny Heroes, Crystal Beasts, Cyber Dragon, Six Samurai, Gladiator Beasts and more...... One that that did annoy me was the lack of Ojama and Armed Dragon cards, not a single card from either archetype in the set.

As said upward, lots of good and even rare cards for a good price compared to the rest of the amazon market.

Great set of cards nice to have all three ultimate beasts from yu-gi-oh GX series and got yubel card in one of the packs that I didn't expect so ths is best valued set I've ever had

So here is a review from someone who only really watched the original series and GX! The box and board came in a good condition, it gave the 3 phantom beasts like it said, however, in all 5 mega packs, I received 15 fusion monsters, of which only 2 were recognisable and none were usable with the cards I received in the box. I was expecting to receive Elemental Heroes and a couple Polymerization cards, but instead I receive 1 Miracle Fusion in a card pack instead. In all I received 2 Elemental Heroes, 2 Cybers, 2 Lizards, 2 Destiny Heroes, 2 Crystal Beasts and that was it, everything else was a Fusion Monster or a useless spell/trap. There is one thing I can say however, this is definitely a nostalgic piece and unlike the original series legendary collection box, this one DOES contain cards from the series, whilst the other mainly contained Synchro and Xyz this one gave me all the cards I remember from GX so I am happy about that at least. SO all in all 3/5 stars, it's a good buy if you're looking for some nostalgia.

For 21 quid it is a very good nostalgia set to buy.If you're looking for competitive play I wouldnt really recommend this set.Also gameboard is pretty cool too.

Contrairement a d'autre, ma box était toujours scellé, les cartes sont très jolie, et quelques-une coûte très chère ! Bref allez-y les yeux fermé !
