For the part that doesn’t have adhesive just peel back the weather strip part or whatever you want to call it and put a little bit of gorilla glue and fold up some playing cards or use some type of wedge to keep it pushed out while it dries

If the manufacturer instructions are followed properly there is no problem at all with the functioning of these ventshades. Nice product that does indeed reduce wind noise a bit going down the road. Follow the instructions closely and thoroughly. Any doubts? Have someone with mechanical abilities greater than your own install them.

I bought this wind deflector for my 2014 CMax thinking this was a great product. Concept was awesome. Saw the other version as well which I will probably be getting because the in-channel set isn’t working very well for my 2014 CMax Energi. After install...I go to roll up my window but it keeps snagging on the bottom plastic piece of the wind deflector and rolls the window right back down. Only way to keep the window from doing that is to cut off the rubber side seals and it is a 50/50 chance it won’t snag. I will end up buying the other version which will stick to the outside of the car which will not look as clean cut.

I followed all cleaning instructions prior to installation and it would not stick whatsoever.

Fits my vehicle fine; however, they are thinner than others from other manufacturers and don't seem to fit exactly in the window channel properly since they often prevent the window from closing all the way. I often have to close the window as much as possible before it automatically retracts, then manually move part of the shade away from the window glass to allow the window to close completely.

No doubt that the addition of the in-channel AVS window vehicle vent visor is a must have if you like to keep the windows in your vehicle slightly ajar for air to circulate the cabin and help vent out odors, Etc.You also enhance your vehicles appearance while at same time keeping the elements out when driving along.

I like being able to leave my windows slightly open on hot days. These are nice though I have had some installation issues with the rear sheilds.

the adhesive is not adequate in florida sun. the deflector slides down and causes the window to reverse when closing.
