The Secret Seven Collection - 16 Books

These are good books for children around second grade, who can handle chapter books but might not want a long or complex book. These are shorter and simpler than her "Famous Five" series.

Excellent set of books which my 9 year old son is currently enjoying. Highly recommended.

One book is damaged.

I gave it only 2 stars as one of the book was glued with white paper at the bottom of 4 pages. It was disappointing personally as we treasure our books and pass on generations. Having a torn book amidst a beautiful series was disheartening. I got it as a gift much before and when my kid started reading it, i was way past the return window and could not return either. Otherwise the rest of the books were in a good condition.

Me han gustado mucho. Me sirven para practicar el inglés, pues el vocabulario es bastante sencillo ya que se trata de libros infantiles. Agradezco que estén ilustrados porque así son más amenos. El papel no es de mucha calidad, pero al ser el precio bastante asequible, no se puede pedir más.

My almost 7 year old granddaughter is already on book 3 and excited to tell me about the adventures each day. She and her mum read 3 chapters each night making bedtime a fun experience. She can’t believe that I remember reading them when I was a child. I highly recommend them for family time

Bought the famous five books for my granddaughter last year and she loved them. So this year for her 10th birthday I've got the secret seven books...arrive bang on time and they are in perfect condition. Big box and plenty paper inside to stop them rattling about. Delivery driver was so nice and polite (unlike some). Would definitely recommend this set of books.

I think kids should have books with great illustrations. Granted the set did not cost an arm or a leg but, I was hoping for a better quality. Otherwise, it is a decent book. Lovely stories as we all know. Kids love the stories but the dark, black and poor quality illustrations sure dampen their enthusiasm to read the book, by a tad. Anyone knows which version has great illustrations?
