Oman Road Map: Omn_rdm_2 Paperback – January 1, 2010

It's a compact design with very good layout. Oman is developing its infrastructure very rapidly, so no amount of internet mapping, published maps and guide books can help in some areas, especially outside of the capital, but this is still very helpful when navigating the country. If you are travelling outside of a major city, watch out for the icon for gas station on the map. You may not get any service for miles.

I was in Oman many, many, years ago. There were no tarmac roads at all, anywhere. There are some now, in the more populated areas, so I needed a map showing roads for my first visit in nearly 50 years. The map is excellent and was delivered promptly.Admittedly it`s torn a bit along a few folds with use, but it`s only paper, only needed for two weeks and wasn`t horribly expensive anyway, so that`s ok.
