Does the job
As others have mentioned the wedges are in fact cylindrical in shape, and they do take some hammering in. However, once in they are not going to come out again.I have used my axe quite a bit since repairing it using this kit without any problems.Recommended.

Is what it is...
It's a bit of wood you stick in the end of an axe to keep the handle on, it does a job.

The metal wedges work well enough and for the price there are no complaints about them, only no wedge turned up. the packaging was damaged possibly in transit. three stars because the metal wedges still did the job adequately.

Should've gone to the highstreet
Firstly, the hammer wedges are round, which is not really what I was after. I have no idea why they wouldn't put the correct picture up.The timber wedge is nothing amazing and easily something I could have made at home, probably to a better standard if I'm honest.It'll do, but in retrospect I probably should've just gone to a hardware store and saved myself most of the cost. Overpriced, not what I was expecting, don't bother.

Not as expected
The metal wedges are circular not as shown in the picture and of no use to me, so I was in effect buying a wooden wedge. came quicly enough after the order was placed.
