Most fun accessory for my 2yr old. (2023 Update: rust can be seen on all the joints of the hoop.)
Update: 2023/Jan; Would still buy this but must note that after 3 years of once a month use by a toddler, in San Diego weather, the metal hoop frame shows medium amount of rust at each of the 4 couplings of the metal perimeter. The webbing and everything else is in prime shape and still looks new. It's time to replace the metal rim. (possibly 1/2" galvanized.) Every other part has weathered well..2018/Nov Original post: So happy with this. This is well built, a smart design, with quality material, and an eye to safety. It is surprisingly light in total mass; all together the assembled pendulum circle is less than 4 lbs. The trampoline fabric is quality thickness and the sewn seams have good heavy stitching. Looks like this will last years. The colors are vivid blue and deep black. The frame is comprised of four 90 degree segmented pipes; each with a concentric slip fitting on one end. The pipe is painted black. Each pipe is wrapped in foam and gives this an inviting cushion. There are heavy duty velcro straps to safely cover the bolts from little fingers. This is easy to assemble. The instructions that come with this are very brief but instead point to a URL that shows how to assemble and it answered my questions about assembling. From box to having fun swinging took me 40 minutes. Each of the four metal ring bolts have two lock nuts, one open-ended and one close-end-cap; which secure the bolt solid and cap any sharp edges from the bolt. This was a fun part of our holiday, our shy granddaughter played on it for four hours the first day. She started with being super shy to becoming a "Look at Me" swinger by the 2nd day. The length of the rope are quickly adjustable. We found that a position of one foot from the ground was the best for our 2 yr old. The four ropes are strong and ample sized for safety for young kids. This was tested with 250 lbs. The ropes are easy to hold and do not a hurt the hand. The ropes are single braid and so impart a very slight twist to the apparatus when swinging. It comes with two nylon tree straps but I did not use them but instead used the provided carabiner clips to attach to the frame of my swing set. The carabinter clips appear to be aluminum and have screw locks to secure them.

Awesome swing, but the nylon rope is too slippery.
Installed this swing in our basement hanging from a metal beam. Its awesome and seems like great quality that will last. Obviously, I can't speak to how well it would last outdoors, but inside the home I expect this to last years. The one thing I really dislike about the swing is the nylon ropes are too slippery. I've adjusted the swing to be level and hang at a certain distance from the floor. However, after a few minutes of swinging on it (albeit rough swinging) the swing is no longer level and is much closer to the floor. The clasps/hooks slide on the nylon rope too easily. It is extremely frustrating to readjust the swing several times a day. I now just leave it be and the kids don't seem to mind that its only a few inches off the floor, but I really wish it would stay where I adjust it.

Bolt failure from rusted threads... UPDATE: instructions say keep out of prolonged weather.
UPDATE: the company was very curtious and offered a replacement, to aid in our bad experience. I raised the rating to 3 stars as I really do like the swing and the company doesn't just leave you cold. However I found when assembling this one that the instructions do claim not to leave the swing out in prolonged rain or other weather conditions. So technically the failure may have been expected due to this clause. But seriously it is a tree swing who is going to take it down when it starts to rain. I would raise the review more if this particular aspect were addressed and made it more durable to the elements. I will try and follow the recommended clause and we shall see (probably next year sometime) how this goes.We purchased this swing as a gift in the beginning of 2020 for the sprint/summer/fall times. It claims to be rated for 700lbs but we had a structural failure at ~260lbs. My son and I were on this as one of the bolts threads rusted and broke free.Unless the company decides to use quality bolts and nuts (or the purchaser replaces them) I would not recommend this product to a prospective buyer. The Idea of the swing is excellent and provided many memorable moments. However, if the product can't make it though one summer without failure it is not worth it. My kids used to swing high on this and if the failure occurred during one of those swings they would have almost certainly been injured. In conclusion. I based my rating on experiencing a structural failure with a device that I trusted up to 700lbs. At 260lbs we had a failure ( 37% of the rated capacity ). Luckily we were not swinging high and were able to recover from the failure. If you purchase this swing you should be aware of this case study and plan accordingly, beware dragons lay ahead.

Great but not for long term use
First I will say my kids got a LOT of use out of this. Almost daily when we first got it during quarantine. It was pretty sturdy for about a year, but right around the year mark the seams started to come apart a little bit. Then a little bit more. Then a bit more until how it looks now in the photos. Two sides have completely ripped open. My kids still love it and swing on it, but I will have to purchase another brand soon because the seam split is starting to follow down into the actual seat. So they will eventually just fall through the seat of the thing if I don’t take it down. But was it worth the $75 for the year of fun? Probably so. The straps they send you are not long enough in my opinion for the height of a tree with enough growth/sturdiness to hold the weight. We had to buy additional rope to hang it. Beware of hanging rope without chaffing gear though. Even if it is rated to withstand a certain amount of weight, the top of the rope will chafe on the bark of the tree and eventually snap. We found that out the hard way. We took old gardening hose and cut it to cover the rope at the top of the branch where it was hanging and didn’t have any issues after that.
