Drive in Delirium: Maximum 80s Over Drive

“Let your smile be your umbrella”
You had me at “drive-in”, this is umbrella entertainment’s 5th dip into the exploitation trailer swill bucket. And while there are plenty of repeats fromPast trailer compliations from other distributors here, These guys continue to reign in sound / picture quality and presentation. As with past editionsThe titles here are aplenty. 260 in all split into three groups the first “part one: the quickening” is a combination of 70s / 80s sci-fi, western, comedyBut Focuses on suspense thrillers like “eyes of Laura mars” & “the naked face” (also lots of Bronson) “Part Two: the spawning” once again puts usInto the slasher / horror genre (with regulars Jason, Argento,Fulci and the lot) and lots of creepy crawlers. Finally “part Three: VHS delirium” is anodd mixture of 80 various exploitation trailers. these trailers are in their raw, grainy unrestored glory and probably taken off what I’m guessing wasAn vintage Australian video source, few even have voiceovers at end with price tag. These vhs gems are varied in format but mostly are television spots in 1;33 ratio and include some rare trailers like “Q the winged serpent” and “Battletruck” This may get a mix reaction but even though movies In the VHS section are hideous in quality it reminds you how far technology has come and how important film and trailer restoration is. An index ofAll the Film trailers (except the VHS ones) are listed on the inside cover.

It arrived early and it plays on my BD player!
I bought the Blu-ray for "Drive-In Delirium: Maximum '80s Overdrive" because I always wanted to own a trailer compilation BD and it promised that it was a region-free BD. It arrived early than expected and it was delivered to my door with care and respect and absolutely no damages. I played it that very night and it was region-free as expected and the best part of all is that the trailers featured on the disc look amazing in high definition! In the near future, I'm definitely getting the other "Drive-In Delirium" BDs to complete the collection.

Drive on in for some late night 80's delirium! Fun and hilarity ensues
A must have for any movie buff or film trailer enthusiast. I've recently become a fan of trailer compilations myself and I'm very happy I picked this up! This has tons of 80's action, horror and cult movie trailers all packed into one blu-ray disc. Reminds me of the days of visiting a local video store and catching the feature previews on all my VHS rentals. And having all these on a blu ray the picture quality is far better. The extra features are a bonus including a very cool poster gallery slideshow.. and I like how this gives the viewer the feel of being at a drive-in movie theater just like how it was back then when they were shown. If you're a fan of late night 80s films, or want something to show in the background at a party. GET THIS.

If you have "Trailer trauma 3: the 80's".....
Then you'll love this complication of 80's themed coming attractions from "the rad" era only 156 trailers on this volume which is less then The that of60's / 70's Volume but excellent quality in picture and sound never the less. Once again the single dvd separates the titles into two parts the first partTitled "the crackdown" (covers mostly revenge / action-adventure / sci-fi) while part 2: "Stalk n' slash" pretty much describes itself. Also as with vol 1.You can watch the two parts separately or as an entire show complete with ads, intermission etc. from the main animated menu you can tell that the folks at Umbrella entertainment actually care about their product and the collectors of this obscure genre. like the films that they represent the trailerIs an art form in itself and needs disc like this to preserve (and enhance) it.

This is a great compliation of 80s trailers
This is a great compliation of 80s trailers, and the remastering of them looks wonderful...well, as good as you're going to get on a lot of them, since they're low budget and grainy anyway. But they look better a little ragged I say, who wants to watch pristine exploitation trailers?

Vigilantes, aliens and pyschopaths unite!
Great compilation of trailers from the 1980s ( although I'm sure a couple of these movies came out in the late 70s). Complete with fast food bumpers before each segment informing you of the treats available in the cinema/drive in. The trailers have been cleaned up and quality varies for each one but most look pretty damn good. The trailers themselves are mainly mainstream movies of the sci fi and horror genre but there are comedies and action in there too. Running time is 227 minutes and extras feature a poster gallery. No commentary which is a shame but all in all this is a fantastic disk,a perfect companion to the Grindhouse trailer classics and 42nd street forever disks. Grab yourself some popcorn and prepare for a delirious trip down memory lane.

Great Blu Ray Disc
Whats special about this presentation is the presentation itself! The Blu Ray menu is so much fun and animated with a trailer style intro mash up of content from the actual trailers but done in a new, original way! Loved it, and you will too if you appreciate cinema in all its forms. Pick up the other titles aswell, they are just as good
